It's day four of our mission trip, and I had the privilege of sitting down with Angela and Lucy, who works at the MacDonald Brown School. This is where most of our days are spent helping build the library, among other things.



Angela and Lucy are amazing women. How do I know? Because they managed to get an entire school of Zambians to sing to Lara on her birthday. Was there a dry eye in the house? No there was not.

Well, it's Tortured Poets Department time. Lara and I took a few days to digest Taylor Swift's new double album and are ready to share our initial thoughts. If I had to describe the piece in a few words, I would choose "raw" and "brooding." So, if you're looking for a 1989-ish sing-a-long, I'm afraid this isn't the era for you. With that said, Lara and I are intrigued by this album and the 31 glimpses we have into the soul of a tortured poet.
