He was associated with EY as a consultant and has proved his acumen as an entrepreneur in the past. He is also a part-time visiting faculty at IMS Learning.

Talking about his book “Casual Finance,” he says that there was not an event but a journey from blogs to answering people’s questions on investment that made him write the book to manage their finances better. He also explains how cryptocurrencies have stood the test of time and will continue doing it in the future.

In the episode, Dr. Angshuman Ghosh introduced the POC framework for choosing the right career option for any individual. It can provide an appropriate roadmap for any individual who is facing any difficulty in opting for the right career choice to pursue. He addresses the importance of storytelling and how it plays a significant role in the pragmatic implementation of data science in the business environment.

In the 12th episode of V-POD, the Business Cluster of IIM Visakhapatnam brings you the chance to develop your entrepreneurial skills based on the real-life experience of Mr Dhruvam Thaker. From driving his taxi in Ahmedabad to becoming a successful entrepreneur, he has proved that sheer dedication and determination can provide fruitful results.

Talking about the limited resources in the initial start-up years, Mr Thaker says that entrepreneurship is like an ocean. You are in a small boat with several holes and a tiny bucket to remove the water from the ship. He believes in personalized experience and hence believes that business is not driven just by technology but by people and resources.

He also talks about how he converted the pandemic crisis into an opportunity by making the first-mover advantage by aiding the customers in getting government approval for outstation travels. Along with other steps, this helped him expand his operations in over two times the number of cities they were earlier serving.

In this week’s episode of the ‘V-POD’- IIMV Podcast series, we are glad to welcome Mr Puneet Jain.

Currently serving as the Vice President of Clarivate, Mr Jain has a massive experience of over two decades in setting up and scaling Global Development Centres (GDC) for various fortune 500 companies. Throughout his career, he has taken projects in India and countries like Russia, Italy, Poland, and the USA. He has prospered in the roles of Country Head at IHS Markit and as Associate Director at Applied Materials India. He has worked closely with the US Consulate and US Department of Commerce while fulfilling the role of Chairman of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, promoting several bilateral trades and initiatives. Mr Jain aided MSME in adopting IT services while being Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) State Council Member and IT panel member.

In the 10th episode of V-POD, we have Ranjani Mani, Director, Analytics and Data Sciences at VMware India. Ranjani has over 14 years of experience in setting up and growing Data Science, Product Management, Consulting and Analytics function with stints across high-tech companies including Dell and Oracle. A silver medallist in her MBA program at MICA, Ranjani was recently recognized as one of the recipients of a Women in AI Leadership Award 2021 and listed in the top 150 AI & Analytics Leaders 2021.

In today’s episode, we are extremely privileged to have Ms Sakshi Mandhyan, Founder of Mandhyan Care, a positive mental health initiative. Sakshi is a clinical psychologist with over 12 years of experience and a certified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). She is one among the ”51 MOST FABULOUS GLOBAL HAPPINESS LEADERS” awarded by World HRD Congress. 

In today’s episode, we have with us Mr Hrushikesh V Kulkarni. Hrushikesh Kulkarni, in his current engagement, works with IDFC First bank as Vice President Customer Experience for sharing consumer insights.

For the past 17 years, he has helped brands drive a customer-centric culture across the organization by unlocking the power of analytics for data-driven decision making.

Over a decade, SIR has pursued his passion for teaching MBA students as a visiting faculty for Marketing specialization. He is also an author of various articles which have been published for different magazines.

Welcome to the seventh V Pod Episode by the business cluster of IIM Visakhapatnam. In today’s episode, we have with us Dr Prateek Mahalwar.

Dr Prateek Mahalwar is the founder of BIOWEG. BIOWEG is a start-up in Germany which is established by three Indian Entrepreneur. BIOWEG aims to develop a sustainable future that replaces microplastics in our day-to-day personal and home care products with biodegradable and sustainable solutions.

Previously, he was an engagement manager at EY Strategy, Germany. He helped clients with new business models, digital platform strategy, portfolio management, advanced analytics, commercialization, R&D processes, and pre & post-merger activities. He received his PhD from the Max Planck Society, Germany. He published his research work in high impact journals like Science, eLife, and Nature. He has worked in Germany, the USA, India, Croatia, and the UK. In his free time, he enjoys reading and running.

In today’s episode, we have with us Mr Manish Mrigank. Mr Manish is a product leader with 14+ years of global experience in Product Management, Strategy, and Digital Transformation across industries such as Retail, Hospitality, Logistics, Manufacturing, Pharma, Media, and the Food industry. He has been a product manager in top MNCs after which he had served as assistant director at the Government of India for nearly 1.5 years. He had shifted back after the short tenure in the public sector and served as a product leader and then as a mentor, helping Mid-Senior Professionals to transition into Product Management Roles and is currently the director of product management.

In today’s episode, we are extremely proud to have Mr Satyaki Banerjee, assistant VP  product management division IDFC First Bank,  focusing on driving customer experience on the digital platform. He has a diverse experience of working in multiple early-stage start-ups and is currently advising various start-ups on product strategy and growth. He has also built and scaled products in the field of e-commerce, investment platforms, digital lending and digital banking and in his own words, technology is what excites him and drives him to solve complex problems in a simpler manner.
