is just before this episode. Stash talked about helping young female students through her LaceLocker®️ scholarship fund last time, and this week, she talks about her relationship with softball.

She was a member of the winning team for the Softball National Champion in the amateur league, and she helped grow the game in Peru in her later years. She played sports when women’s sport was not as focused as today.

Today’s guest is Carol ‘Stash’ Stanley- an awesome person with a very special journey to share. She was a member of the ASA (Amateur Softball Association) where she became the Softball National Champion with the Hank’s Painting REDS, and then she later helped establish and train the Peruvian National Softball Team. Aside from her athletic career, she is also an innovator; she holds non US patents AND she is also the CEO of LaceLocker®️, where she created the LaceLocker Scholarship Fund to send first-generation female students to college. As of 2023, 12 students have received this scholarship. In this episode Stash shares some beautiful stories about her relationship with her mother which eventually gave her the inspiration to help young women pursue higher education.

Today guest is Dorthea Forbrigd, a Norwegian professional golfer competing on the Ladies European Tour and Access Tour. She graduated East Carolina University in 2021 and returned to Europe to pursue her dream of playing professional. Since then she has recorded multiple top 10 finishes and has won her ticket to the Ladies European Tour by strong playing on the South African Sunshine Tour. She is also an avid reader who always has a good book recommendation (Check out her Goodreads page for this!). In this interview we talk about personal growth and what she has worked on to keep improving on a daily basis.

Ana Larrañeta is a former professional golfer and current LETAS tour director on the Ladies European Tour. She reflects on her 16 years of competitive career as well as her post retirement career. She also has a message for those pursuing their tour card today which you cannot miss!

She fired a -9 round at the Jabra Ladies Classic in February this year, and since returning to Spain, she has won two consecutive events on the Santander Tour. She has a calm and disciplined attitude on and off the course, and in this episode, she shares with us her experience through balancing two jobs, how she defines herself, and her rule in life.

This year marks her 19th season on tour, and we talk about why she started playing golf, and what has been key to maintaining her high motivation throughout her successful career. Martin Cummins is a director of coaching at Martin Cummins Golf Performance at El R.A.C.E. in Madrid. He has worked with numerous championship level golfers and his teaching style with modern technology has won many support in the Spanish golf community. In the podcast we talk about how he got into "coaching," and what it means to be a technical coach, and he also shares with us some important insights directed at younger players working hard to grow their game. He talks about his new goal as he just moved to a new golf course, and last but not least, he tells us what it means to be Martin Cummins, and his rule in life.

Kim Lewellen, head coach at the Wake Forest women’s golf program, talks to us about what it is like to be a college golf coach and shares with us her journey from playing professional to coaching.
