Ikthus Daily Word | Ptr. Bong Mabilog, Ikthus Iloilo

One important element in our Christian life is Hope.  As Pastor Bong wraps up our theme this month, he reminds us that if we have symptoms of discouragement and confusion, or loss of appetite in getting up and continuing in life, all we need is a high dose of Hope – a kind of hope that will lift us up from despair and give us room to breathe.

As we continue to wait for the return of Jesus Christ, are you willing to take the risk for Him? What will you do with the life God has given you?

We are inviting you to join us as Pastor Joe shares to us a deeper insight about the Parable of the Talents.

We often have idealized and romanticized pictures of the days leading to Christmas. Trying to ease the pain by putting up christmas lights and decors.

Pastor Bong shares to us today that what we need is a high dose of hope that comes from God alone.

What is it that you’re praying for today? Do you believe that God has heard your prayers?   Today, Pastor Jek shares to us the life of Zechariah. Just like him, there will be times in our life that doubt may overwhelm us. But God is still faithful to accomplish His will.

Our life is just like a story composed of the different elements: characters, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution.  In the Christmas story, God allowed certain things and conflicts to happen, but in finality no human leader no matter how powerful can thwart the plan of God.  Stay with us as Pastor Jek gives us a deeper insight about this story.

We may look and ponder of what we may have thought lost in the celebration of this season of hope. But, as we anticipate the coming, let our celebration be centered on Christ, who is our Hope of Glory.  Bro. Beto continues to share to us Part 2 of his Daily Devotion. Stay tuned and be blessed!

As we look forward 2020, it’s not impossible for us to be tired, dented, and perhaps lose sight of hope with all of what’s happening.  The transformation we see is not instant and most of the time it isn’t. But what gives us hope is the Christ in you.  Stay with us as Bro. Beto shares to us what God’s Word says more about this.

Join us as Pastor Joe shares and expounds to us 'How to live as we wait upon the Lord' as based on Matthew 24.

We may not appreciate what is happening right now and life seems not the way we planned it.   But when God gives his gift, it is wrapped unlikely. Bro. Melo continues to remind us about God’s Gift to us in the Part 2 of his devotional.  May we eventually see God’s manifold beauty, now and forever!

Christmas is one of the most important celebration that we look forward to.   One significant item that encapsulates the essence of Christmas is the “Gift”. More importantly, the deeper essence of Gift is “Grace”, which Bro. Melo will share to us today.
