Discover how Farm Rescue saves family farms in crisis.

In this episode, Terry Johnston, a Development Officer at Farm Rescue talked about typical scenarios where Farm Rescue offers assistance.

These include:
👉 Health issues preventing farmers from completing essential tasks like planting, harvesting, or feeding livestock.
👉 Major disasters such as fires, floods, or tornadoes destroying equipment or crops.

Farm Rescue boasts several strengths that make them effective in aiding these families:

👉 Trained volunteers who provide valuable assistance.
👉 Up-to-date equipment to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
👉 Their overall capability allows them to get the job done effectively for struggling families.
👉 Farm Rescue also connects families with long-term resources such as financial counseling and a more comprehensive support system.

Farm Rescue's biggest challenge is awareness. Many farmers are unaware of the organization's existence or how to access their help. Visit their website (https://farmrescue.org/) to see how a family farm is saved.
