We sit down with Ilja Rautsi, writer of the new film The Hatching, who is bringing horror to Finland. Ilja discussed the new film as well as his horror comedy shorts The Helsinki Mansplaining Massacre and Night of the Living Dicks, both of which he wrote and directed. Ilja blends elements of graphic body horror with social commentary which is truly carving out his own brand of horror from a country that has yet to fully embrace the genre.
