**Recorded May 2022** I quit social media! After about a week with new pups in a new home I was sitting, I realized social media isn’t required to make the mark I want to make. Impact means different things to everyone but I personally want to make you FEEL. I want you to feel emotional, seen, and bold when you connect with me and experience my work. Social media is no longer the place for me to do that. So I finally deleted all my accounts and quit the apps and have started my own website. In the next episode, I will share the official URL with you. Stay tuned! Ps. I have a 100% kindness only policy after quitting social media. I define kindness as “honesty wrapped in respect.” Here are some examples of what falls outside the scope of kindness: 1. Co-opting experiences that belong to the oppressed to shame others 2. Using social media to “cancel,” blackmail, or blame others for your trauma without taking any personal responsibility 3. Spreading lies about a person, situation, or event for your own personal gain. I witnessed these examples on social media right before I quit. My emails, website, and podcast are closed to anyone who participates in public or private vendettas, cruelty, or malice of any kind.
