After a brief hiatus, Ill Informed is back as Tim and Jay bring on two longtime guests, Brendan and Terence to give their opinions on everything from failing Nintendo Switch sales to the importance and spread of net neutrality. Plus, a look at films that take place in a single day and what makes them so damn entertaining. That and more on this week’s Ill Informed.

Back after a long break, Tim, Jay and Terence dive into the Marvel Cinematic Universe to try to figure out where they could take things next (Warning: Infinity War spoilers if you somehow haven’t seen it). Then, they talk through what’s coming to E3, and what gets them most excited in this year’s lineup of new games from Rare, Bethesda, Microsoft and more.

Tim and Jay are joined by their favorite guest (but don’t tell anyone) Terence to walk through what went right and what went wrong in the latest iteration of Star Wars. They’re about as split as the rest of you. Then, they take a look at the best movies of 2017 and recommend some great ones to finish out the year.

Long-time listener, first-time guest Dylan joins Tim and Jay to talk through some of the stories from this week, including recent allegations against Louis CK and Disney’s plan to create a mega-studio monopoly. But our main focus this week is on separating an artist from their art, and whether or not that’s truly possible in today’s connected world, especially when looking and film or TV or music through a critical lens. After that, Tim takes us through his top ten movies of all time, and we debate if they make any sense.

This week it’s just Jay and Tim, so join us as we talk through what happened this week, from Louis CK’s surprise movie to Brand New’s brand new album. Then we break down the future of comic book franchises, and touch on what to watch if you’re out of ideas.

Man did a lot happen this week as we’re joined once again by Pete to help us get through a whole bunch of news and stories. We talk Spider-Man Homecoming and what (possibly) makes it the best in the franchise so far. To help out, we bring in our summer intern, Fran, to give us a teenage perspective on what’s clearly an all-ages blockbuster. Then keep us with us to get a mostly accurate ranking of Christopher Nolan movies and a breakdown of the latest trailers from Comic-con.

Tim brings on his dad, Tim, to reflect on the passing of Adam West, figure out what’s going on with comics these days, and dive deep, deep into the world of Planet of the Apes. From the original’s starring Charlton Heston to the epic War For Planet of the Apes out soon, we cover all the bases and spread some Father’s Day cheer.
