The fella's welcome back Nathan's brother, Jason, to discuss this 1987 classic RoboCop. This very re-watchable classic was fantastic to discuss and our trivia section reveals two VERY surprising facts about this movie. Did you know that a former US President was involved in promotion of this movie?????
The fellas welcome back Chris to discuss this 1988 classic. This uniquely 80s classic hits all of the major food groups of lunacy. Campy dialogue, forced choreographed fights and brick breaking demonstrations...
We put on one ski and head down the mountain to discuss this 1985 classic that most 80s kids can quote blind. This odd and yet formula following high school romp is interesting years later. Just about EVERY character is extremely memorable, except the main one. Nathan and I give this film a thorough discussion and yet never get into the "Street value of this mountain".
We talk about one of the scariest movies every made. The 1979 space horror classic, Alien. Ridley Scott's masterpiece plays just as insane today as it did 41 years ago.
Two mediocre white guys that love to talk about movies will revisit some of the classics of our youth, the modern masterpieces and some actual duds. Imagine the type of banter you would hear at an independent video store from the 1990s. The kind where they charged you insane fees for not rewinding. It is STRONGLY suggested that you either watch the film or know the film before listening to the episode. Don't get angry at us if you have the plot spoiled by listening to us talk about it.
We made a last minute audible to this film as the parallels to modern life in America were too compelling not to discuss. This is a fantastic 2005 film that is worth watching at least once per year as it is a good reminder of one key fact! "People should not be afraid of their Governments, Governments should be afraid of their people".
Nathan and Ollie welcome a special guest to discuss the 1989 Patrick Swayze classic, Road House. This iconic, moronic and remarkable film has many classic lines, great action and evil goons that drive a monster Truck. What could be better?
Kurt Russel's iconic role as Jack Burton, swaggers his way through this utterly insane tale of sorcery, kidnapping and arranged marriages. We discuss everything from the unique and cool shooting style that reminds us of Anime to how terrible the three evil guards, known as storms, were at their job. The Pork chop express's charismatic driver is by far our favorite part of this film but our discussion of it, might become yours.
