Chris and Brian talk about the long weekend and how things went from the photographers' stand point. They welcome in AA Bracket Feature winner, Josh Trammell, a Battle Creek, Michigan native. After a good Friday Night of practice and laying down an almost perfect qualifying lap, Josh got caught up in some race action and thought his weekend might be over. After some help from friends and strangers, he found himself in Victory Lane of the famed Grundy County Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Chris and Brian take on not one, not two, but three guests this week. After one of racing's biggest weekends in the Midwest, we are joined by Josh Nelms, who recently has taken over the Mid Am Racing Series, Cameron Preisler after picking up his biggest feature win to date at the Oktoberfest Weekend in LaCrosse, WI, and to put a bow on his 2026 season, we welcome Beau DeYoung back in to talk about his Kokomo Klash victory in the UMP Modifieds.

The Goodaker Brothers bring on Beau DeYoung to talk all about his biggest win to date. The weather cooperated and the track was the best it's been all season for the exclamation point on the 2026 Shadyhill Speedway race season. The 10th Annual Mystery 100 took center stage this past weekend as Fairbury, Charleston, and Montpelier also hosted their own big race events. Grundy County took the week off from racing while things start to get rolling for Special Olympics 5-0 and The World Famous Trailer Race this upcoming weekend. Kokomo Klash and Octoberfest at Lacrosse Speedway also are on the schedule for this weekend. See ya at the races!

Chris and Brian bring in Paul Shafer Jr after picking up his third Bettenhausen Memorial victory over at the Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois. A much anticipated event every year, it drew nearly 30 of the best Super Late Models in the Midwest along with 29 Mid Ams. The fans filled the grandstands with excitement and veteran racers brought about the nostalgia and lore for the 65th running of the Bettenhausen Memorial 100. Kankakee County wrapped up their 2026 season on Friday night. Despite a perfect forecast for racing, Shadyhill was forced to postpone the 10th Annual Mystery 100 to this upcoming Saturday Night, October 3rd.

Chris leads the interview with Stanley Zolodz IV this week in preparation for the rescheduled 65th Annual Bettenhausen Memorial 100 at Grundy County Speedway. An excessive amount of rain forces cancellations all around last weekend but we did find a little bit of racing on Friday Night. Perseverance is the name of the game this week as Brian tackles a flooded basement and Stan looks for a high note to wrap up the S4 Motorsports 25th season of racing.

Brian and Chris come back after a THRILL-ing weekend in racing. The dirt racing world shut down for the 56th World 100 and Grundy County held their Night of Thrills. Smashed cars, blowing things up, breaking stuff (including a drive shaft after leading 88 laps of the 100) and even some asphalt late model racing all capped off with the highest point total by the Chicago Bears in a regular season opener and plenty of Miller Lites. Gearing up for our biggest weekend in racing with MARS Late Model Series heading to Kankakee, Shadyhill holding their 10th Annual Mystery 100, and the 65th running of the Bettenhausen Classic 100 at Grundy County. Reigning Mystery 100 winner, Bryce Shidler phones in to talk about the grueling 100 laps around the clay 1/4 mile in Medaryville, Indiana.

Brian and Chris hop on and catch up on all of the Big Labor Day Weekend racing from around the area. Some f bombs to kick the weekend off and probably a few to finish it up as racing can be that way sometimes. It's World 100 Week at Eldora and plenty to look forward to as we begin to wrap up the 2026 race season here in the midwest.

A season full of cancellations, rainouts, reschedules, and more has been the story of the 2026 race season. We were able to beat mother nature on Friday Night and enjoy a full weekend of racing with a number of racers winning for consecutive weeks. From kids racing Mini Wedges at Plymouth Motor Speedway to hearing mostly true stories about the "Good Ol' Days" on Sunday at the Illinois Stock Car Hall of Fame Day and everything in between this past week is on topic. We begin to look forward to the end of race season and all that comes with it. Mostly big money races, championship, and football season.

Power is on, and the the boys are back! With a wet and washed out weekend of local racing, we look back to a better time. A time when we raced early and all through the weekend. Claiming his first ever Feed Barn Modifieds Victory at Shadyhill Speedway, Beau spills all of the details leading up that last lap pass.
