It is clear that being a believer in Jesus has nothing to do with being religious, but everything to do with love and action. It starts with loving God, loving yourself, and then loving others as you love yourself. You cannot love others well until you learn to love yourself well, which comes after you come to know the love of God. Our love for others will be polluted if we do not love ourselves first.
