"I’m a Complete Hack - But This is how simple techniques still make a big impact." by Martin Sweers at Blender Conference 2025

You don’t need to be a technical expert to create high-end 3D work. I’m living proof of that, since I fully consider myself a hack when it comes to the technical side of Blender. What I do have is a clear vision, a strong sense of what works visually, and a community of talented people who help me handle the complex parts. This talk shares how the Blender community welcomed me, and how that generosity became the foundation for Not Important Studio and its community-driven approach to creative production.
