This week in 1800 Mr & Mrs Chadwick were celebrating the birth of a bouncing baby boy. 214 years later Pete & Stanley are celebrating because without Sir Edwin Chadwick Pete wouldn't have had a career and Stanley would have spent his days languishing in the back of an old toy cupboard. There's also news of Britain's first motorway pub and Scottish Football fans on a health kick.

Since then Pete & Stanley have done their best to avoid the trappings of fame & fortune that will surely come.
