When did we get so busy chasing the next thing that we forgot to enjoy the thing we once prayed for?

This week, Sazan is celebrating 37 with a little birthday chaos, an 80s-themed party, the sweetest surprise from her friends, and Stevie joining the playground for the ultimate 80s vs. 90s showdown. Music, movies, fashion, snacks, house phones vs. AIM… nothing is off limits. 😂

But underneath all the fun, getting another year older has Sazan thinking about something bigger: maybe we don’t always need another goal, another accomplishment or another version of our lives to finally feel satisfied.

You’re allowed to look around at the ordinary life you have right now and actually enjoy it.

There will always be something next. But maybe the real gift is learning not to miss what’s already here. 💌
