Danny is DEFINITELY my people! This all-around good guy passes his days (and nights) building connections with all...the...people. I could sit and soak in his human-ness for HOURS - in fact I did (it's a looong one, but full of really good stuff!)

Co-host of his own podcast, brand ambassador in the spirits industry and creative genius behind the bar, this aspiring children's book author/illustrator is smart and sensitive and is surely gonna do big things in 2020!

Listen to this BIG episode in pieces if you must, but listen all the way through. Danny and I dive in and out of the deep end. Sports talk, past relationships, tough childhoods and long term goals were just a few of the stops we made along the way down our winding road. We never reach the end when we sit and chat so expect to see Danny O. around a bit more in the future.

GUEST: Juliet Pokorny, Wicked Slush

Juliet Pokorny knows a thing or two about good storytelling and since stories are kinda our thing, who better to join us for a glass of wine and a good time.

With an entire career in theatre and film under her belt, Juliet switched gears completely to co-create (with her husband Dave) the consistently (for 10 years!) SOLD-OUT Petaluma storytelling event West Side Stories and most recently co-found Petaluma's newest treat shop Wicked Slush. While generous to credit Danielle with the results of her lastest life shift, this breath of fresh air is the one who did all the hard work! (I'm not gonna lie, telling local peeps "You're welcome," when walking by the line out the door at Wicked Slush has become one of my new favorite hobbies.)

Listen here to Juliet's journey from theater to Pixar and all the in-betweens. Stay till the end and you may or may not hear an unexpected (way too vulnerable) story that may or may not leave Danielle embarrassed and curled up in a ball under the table.

While we all sat sipping from mugs born of Jenny's hands we covered all things art and collaboration - and even a little local controversy. From graffiti art and "boob" mugs to vulnerability and future work it felt like nothing was off the table and that is EXACTLY my favorite kind of connected conversation.
