In Episode 99 of the I'M PEAKING Podcast, we discuss relationships, trust, and whether regularly attending festivals without your partner should be a red flag. We also ask whether ravers are using PLUR as an excuse for bad behavior: from cyberbullying over shoulder rides and festival stunts to the backlash against Jan’s hot takes on festival debt, substance use, and responsible raving. When does being “nonjudgmental” turn into letting everything slide? Plus, we discuss looking out for each other at events, Kyle’s experience at Kaskade’s Sunsoaked, and whether Burning Man is worth the chaos, before reacting to viral rave clips featuring a crowd-surfing banana, an impressive all-female shoulder stack, and a guy who apparently thought the rail was a bathroom. 💀

Would you be okay with your partner going to festivals without you? Tell us where you draw the line in the comments! 👇 We hope you enjoy this episode 🤍

Is getting messed up at raves in your 30s embarrassing, or are people just being judgmental? 👀 In EP. 98 of the I’M PEAKING Podcast, we’re joined by rising pop EDM artist, singer, and producer MONIC to share some of our most embarrassing rave stories and question whether enjoying EDM is something you’re ever supposed to “grow out of.” Also, is all dubstep starting to sound the same, or are our tastes just changing? Join us as we discuss Kaskade's new wave of producing dubstep, Devin's “dubstep fatigue,” and whether hearing similar sets back-to-back has us craving something different.  We also get into GTA 6 EDM nightclub footage, how video games introduce people to electronic music, and the difference between massive visual productions and sets that let the music do the talking. MONIC also shares music from her upcoming EP, "Here from the Beginning," and talks about building her audience through social media. Finally, we react to questionable viral rave videos, debate phones on the dance floor, and defend our love for Zedd.

What’s something you did when you first started raving that makes you cringe now? Tell us in the comments! 👇 We hope you enjoy this episode 🤍

On Episode 97 of the I’M PEAKING Podcast, we’re joined by our good friend, Jared Feather: IFBB Pro bodybuilder, sports physiologist, and Head Physique & Bodybuilding Specialist at RP Strength, to finally settle the debate between raving and making gains. Jared explains what actually happens to your progress when you spend an entire weekend dancing, barely eating, and running on four hours of sleep. We discuss how much sleep you really need to build muscle, why protein and consistent training matter more than perfectly optimizing every detail, and how Jared manages to balance professional bodybuilding with his newfound love for raving.

We also discuss John Summit canceling several festival appearances to recharge, whether fans expect too much from touring DJs, celebrities entering the EDM scene, the rise of AI-generated music, and how Jared went from knowing almost nothing about rave culture to getting recognized at festivals for his rave content with Devin. Plus, we react to festival clips and ask Jared our most burning questions!

What do YOU do to protect your gains during festival weekends? Let us know in the comments! 💬 And be sure to like, SUBSCRIBE, and turn on notifications for more conversations about rave culture, EDM, festivals, fitness, and everything happening inside the scene! 🤍🔔

Should raves be 21+ only? Or are older ravers conveniently forgetting how young they were when they joined the scene? In Episode 96 of the I'M PEAKING Podcast, the crew debates whether 18-year-olds really belong at raves, whether younger attendees are actually hurting the experience, and why so many ravers seem to hate 18+ events. We also break down the controversy surrounding Zingara and the Riddim community, the rise of sober raving, the uncertain future of Electric Forest, festival fence-hopping, and some of the biggest conversations happening across rave culture right now.

Are 18+ raves actually worse, or have older ravers just become the people they used to complain about? Let us know where you stand in the comments!!

We hope you enjoy this episode, and make sure to SUBSCRIBE for more unfiltered conversations about EDM, festivals, and rave culture every other week! 🔔🤍

On our 5th episode of First Peaks, we're joined by melodic bass heavyweight, Jack Leech (aka NURKO) for an exclusive first listen to his debut album, Solstice (which is OUT NOW)! Together, we dive into the stories and emotions behind the music, exploring themes of love, loss, healing, hope, and mental health as NURKO opens up about the personal journey that inspired the album. From finding light after life's darkest moments to learning how music can help us process the emotions we often struggle to put into words, this conversation goes far beyond just the music itself. Along the way, we react to several tracks from the album, discuss NURKO's creative evolution, what it was like making his first full-length project, and why Solstice may be his most meaningful body of work yet.If you're a fan of melodic bass, emotional storytelling, or simply want an exclusive look behind one of the year's most anticipated albums, this is an episode you won't want to miss. 🤍 We hope you enjoy!!Link to buy an I'M PEAKING Jersey: http://impeakingpod.myshopify.com/Link to grab a BoomBoom (code IMPEAKING to save): https://boomboomnaturals.com/CHECK OUT OUR PATREON (for bonus content) - https://patreon.com/user?u=87212419LISTEN TO OUR PODCAST ON STREAMING PLATFORMS:Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/04FSeasdwUWUPaF79ZrlGNApple Music - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/im-peaking/id1644606726FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA:I'M PEAKING PodcastInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/impeakingpod/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@impeakingpodFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/impeakingMickie Santos (aka Wonderli)YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtcLLsKZiC0c1pEyHF5PpuQInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/_wonderli/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@.wonderliNand MahasuwanYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCw0h80t2rgdz_hp4kmyCN2gInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/nandmahasuwan/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nand.the.rave.dadFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/nandtheravedadThreads - https://www.threads.net/@nandmahasuwanDaniel Jun (aka Bassbaedaniel)YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@bassbaedanielInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/bassbaedaniel/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@UCWQ3hBeb8cu15UzM7HxIylg Threads - https://www.threads.net/@bassbaedanielNURKOYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@NurkomusicInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/nurkomusic/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nurkomusicFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/NurkoOfficialX - https://x.com/NurkoMusic#ravers #edm #raves #impeaking #podcast #melodicbass

We also discuss Defqon's weather cancellation, whether the new generation of ravers is changing PLUR culture, Apocalypse vs. Day Trip, reacting to some of the wildest festival clips on the internet, and even get an exclusive first listen to TWO unreleased Cyclops tracks 👀As always, things got a little unhinged, especially in the reaction videos... 🤣 We hope you enjoy! 🤍Link to buy an I'M PEAKING Jersey: http://impeakingpod.myshopify.com/Link to grab a BoomBoom (code IMPEAKING to save): https://boomboomnaturals.com/CHECK OUT OUR PATREON (for bonus content) - https://patreon.com/user?u=87212419LISTEN TO OUR PODCAST ON STREAMING PLATFORMS:Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/04FSeasdwUWUPaF79ZrlGNApple Music - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/im-peaking/id1644606726FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA:I'M PEAKING PodcastInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/impeakingpod/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@impeakingpodFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/impeakingDevin LarscheidYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@devinlarscheidInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/devinlarscheid/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@devinlarscheidFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/indevinitelyThreads - https://www.threads.net/@devinlarscheidDamien Huot (aka EDM Cupid):Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/edmcupid_/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@edmcupidFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100066349274873Priscilla ShiInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/pwiscillah/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@pwiscillahJarren EllisInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jarren_ellis/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jarren_ellisKyle Arguelles (aka EDMgargoyles)Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/edmgargoyles/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@edmgargoylesYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@edmgargoyles CYCLOPSYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@thisiscyclopsInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/thisiscyclops/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@thisiscyclopsFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/thisiscyclopsX - https://x.com/thisiscyclops#ravers #edm #raves #impeaking #podcast #edmfestivals
