  • BRING YOUR STUFF

This short film is dedicated to the memory of Brittney & her family, a bright and beautiful young woman who left us too soon. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend to many, and her loss has left a deep void in our hearts. We hope that this production, which explores the struggles and hopes of those who have been touched by the struggle of bringing our “stuff” to the Lord, will honor her legacy and inspire others to seek help and support when they “feel stuck.” We are grateful to her family for sharing their story with us, and we hope that they will find indwelling comfort and healing in this short film.

Britt, you are not forgotten. You are loved.

Brittney was a friend and contributor to the Lion of Judah Films, “Through the Veil.”

    HIDING FEELINGS OF DEFEAT

Depression is a common and serious psychological mindset that affects millions of people around the world. It can cause persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, guilt, and worthlessness, as well as physical symptoms such as fatigue, insomnia, and loss of appetite. Depression can interfere with one’s daily functioning, relationships, and quality of life.

Depression is a mixture of spiritual oppression, unbelief, and a paralyzing sense of a lack of hope and experiential answers to their formable condition. When depression becomes habitual, it diverts the mind from any victory - leaving its victim isolated and alone.

For indwelt Christians, depression can also pose a spiritual dilemma. Many Christians may feel ashamed or guilty for being hopeless, believing that they are failing to trust God, rejoice in His goodness, or obey His commands. They may fear that their isolation is a sign of God’s displeasure, punishment, or abandonment. They may also face stigma, judgment, or misunderstanding from friends and loved ones who may view their condition as a sin, a weakness, or a lack of faith. While these perceptions are organically true, and used by God, most habitual “depressed” types slip into the dark pit of despair. The oppressive reality is this “dark pit” denies all visitors.

As a result, many real-deal Christians may try to hide their oppression from Jesus Christ and the Body of Christ, the community of believers. They may pretend that everything is fine, avoid seeking help, or isolate themselves from others. They may also suppress their emotions, doubts, and questions, or try to cope with their hopelessness through unhealthy or sinful means - as in alcohol, drugs, eating disorders, and sexual expressions. Addictions are often formed, which induce more feelings of being alone, hopeless, and unworthy of God’s love and grace.

Jesus is in the ‘dark pit’ with us!

However, hiding in the “dark pit” from Jesus Christ and the Body of Christ is not only harmful, but also unnecessary. Jesus Christ knows and understands our struggles, as He Himself experienced sorrow, grief, and anguish in His earthly life (Isaiah 53:3; Mark 14:32-34). He does not condemn or reject us for “feeling” hopeless but rather invites us to come to Him for rest, comfort, and healing (Matthew 11:28-30; 2 Corinthians 1:3-5). He loves us unconditionally and promises to be with us always, even in the darkest valleys (Romans 8:35-39; Psalm 23:4).

BRING YOUR STUFF TO JESUS & THE BODY OF CHRIST

The Body of Christ is also meant to be a source of support, encouragement, and care for those who are trapped in the deadly offense of isolation. The Bible instructs us to bear one another’s burdens, to weep with those who weep, and to speak the truth in love (Galatians 6:2; Romans 12:15; Ephesians 4:15). The Body of Christ can offer practical help, emotional empathy, and spiritual guidance to those who are stuck in the vicious cycle of despair, as well as pray for them and point them to Christ - either for salvation or healing. The Body of Christ can also help those who are “depressed” to seek help from a trained leader within the Church, such as counseling, spiritual deliverance, or support groups, when needed, without shame or stigma.

However, the greatest challenge is many stuck in this cycle want to be left alone. Family, friends, and trained counselors reach out, but their trap denies visitors and their advice. The addictions, or their love affair with the self-life, classically take over and drive the individual to suicidal ideations. If and when this becomes cyclical, frequently the inevitable happens.

Therefore, instead of hiding early signs of depression from Jesus Christ and the Body of Christ, bring your “stuff” to the Lord and fight the oppression brought on by this Satanic deception. Seek to open up to qualified Christ-as-Life diciplers for help and hope. By doing so, you can experience God’s grace, peace, and joy and grow in your faith in and through Jesus Christ. In due time, you can also be a testimony and a blessing to others who may be struggling with “depression” or other challenges. You will forever remember that God is able to use all things, even depression, for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28).

  • GOODNESS: The Good Side of Bad

The Word of God overflows with verses that reveal the extraordinary goodness of Jesus, showcasing His character, teachings, and redemptive work. Knowing and understanding that He lives within authentic believers, His goodness is readily available to be released in each authentic believer.

Here are some of the verses that highlight the goodness of Jesus:

“Jesus Christ, the embodiment of goodness, compassion, and love, is central to the Christian faith.”

“Jesus displayed great compassion and mercy towards those who were suffering, marginalized, and broken.”

“Jesus’ goodness is exemplified by His willingness to forgive even those who betrayed and crucified Him.”

“Jesus’ teachings emphasize the importance of loving one’s neighbor, caring for the poor and needy, and treating others with compassion and respect.”

“Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

“Jesus’ actions were empowered by God’s presence and anointing.”

The Bible teaches us that God can use bad things for good purposes. In Romans 8:28, it says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” This verse reminds us that even when we face difficult circumstances, God can use them to bring about good in our lives.

Another example of this is found in the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and faced many hardships, but God used these experiences to prepare him for a position of leadership in Egypt. Joseph later said to his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” (Genesis 50:20).

These examples show us that God can bring good out of bad situations. We may not always understand why we are going through difficult times, but we can trust that God has a plan and a purpose for our lives.

  • Preeminent Cultural Darkness

OFFICIAL SERIES BEGINS APRIL 1, 2024

    INTRODUCTION:

We, His People, Will Not Be Silenced

“If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:6-7)

    Preeminent, what a nasty word.

At least when it comes to the dark side, the term has Latin roots and derives from minere, which means “paramount” or “mountain.” Today, it depicts a person of unquestionable rank or supremacy, meaning no one can rise above their control.

Modern Hebrew depicts darkness as obscurity: “the state of being unknown, inconspicuous, or hidden.” Pictorial Hebrew אֹפֶל reveals the meaning as “a hidden leader of massive authority.”

    Christianity Going Rogue.

The phrase going rogue has a specific meaning of “behaving erratically or dangerously.” Today’s expression is more likely to indicate that someone is displaying a high degree of independence or failing to follow the expected script of humanity. When we unite these words, as in our title, we have this: “a supreme authority who will lead from a hidden place, will be erratic and dangerous, and will not follow the life-script of humanity.”

    Jesus gave us a warning.

“So Jesus said to them, ‘For a little while longer, the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.’” (John 12:35)

When Jesus said, "For a little while longer, the Light is among you," He was serious. He knew that a global convergence was soon to be upon humanity.

Convergence is “an act or instance of converging and a point in which the lines of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ will converge, resulting in a society without a conscience.”

Convergence requires a mastermind, and it is not an accidental phenomenon. Convergence is a strategic plan implemented by hidden governance, and the objective is to neutralize minds to control the masses. Once the convergence is solidified and normalized, preeminent darkness will overpower light - temporarily, that is.

Convergence is an event known in the Word of God as The Apostasy. It is also known as the “falling away.” I believe our Lord ignited this event in 2020. Time will tell. However, Jesus's words, “Walk while you have the Light so that darkness will not overtake you,” could not be more relevant in our present end-times. We cannot stop this coming convergence; God ordains it.

“But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7)

The ideation of sin needs a conscience, and sin surfaces as a misnomer when the conscience becomes seared. If we walk in the Light, the conscience becomes a guiding force to prepare us for living in a preeminent dark society.

A dark society does not function without deception. Deception within the Church cannot multiply without passivity, and passivity is the gateway to impotence.

Passivity is the greatest enemy of the Gospel!

In evaluating the present condition of the Body of Christ, we discover a mystery that separates the sheep from the goats - the silencing of the lambs.

When you look at our society today, what do you see? If you are alert to the scheme of the enemy of God, most likely, you will see the church slipping into the modality of blending the values and core doctrines of the Word of God in and with the lukewarm mindset of the Antichrist. This madness method is the “sting of death” (1 Cor. 15:56), where co-burial in Christ and the Resurrection Life fades into the emergent Social Gospel.

Often, I am asked, "Why is the Social Gospel dangerous?"  The quick answer is that the Social Gospel considers relationships more important than doctrines. The more complex answer is disturbing - people who propagate the Social Gospel define the authentic Gospel through self-life experience, better communicated as the feeling-based gospel.

Since the Social Gospel is the global religious view of Socialism, both the Social Gospel and Socialism (as a government) provide the root deception that leads to the captivation of all people into one-world governance. Both ideations are rooted in a feeling-based belief system. However, both aim to eliminate the freedom of liberty, meaning the conservative branches with a Biblical worldview become frustrated in asserting the sound doctrines of God's absolute Word, fearing condemnation, and being bullied into silence. Sadly, this demonic ideation works with most fake and real believers in Christ. Keep in mind the leading ramification is that silence provokes passivity. Thus, passivity silences the lambs of the Living God, which ultimately removes the testimonies of and for Jesus Christ.

    The Ultimate Challenge:

Equipping the authentic Saints of Jesus Christ is a massive challenge. Since the leading social misnomer accepted by our culture is anti-authority, when the real Gospel is presented authoritatively, the masses default to this cultural ideation. Suppose you are blocked from presenting authority as the foundation for ushering in conviction. In that case, the listeners will default to, “You are not my daddy,” while being passive in answering the question, “Who is your daddy?”

    Here is the clincher.

There are only two daddies - the Father of Lies (Satan) and God the Father. There is a confession when you encounter an individual who separates these primaries into other father figures. Unless authoritative figures are under God the Father and managed by God the Father, each is identified as under the Father of Lies. This kind of clarity of authority provokes a growing movement of hostility. No one places themselves under authority. All of humanity is born under the limited authority of the Father of Lies (Romans 6; Galatians 2:20). To get out from under this horrific position of slavery, one must be crucified with Christ, buried with Him, and then, and only then, can the individual be translated under the authority of God the Father.

Most loathe the idea of slavery.

Today, research reveals that slavery, racism, sexism, and poverty are the leading ideological issues that provoke hostility or resistance. However, I would like to point out that slavery is at the top of the pile. Since all humanity is born as a slave to Satan, all are forced into slavery. Due to Adam and Eve's act of rebellion, humanity was placed under the master, the Father of Lies - via the seed line of Adam. Thus, slavery became obligatory and not an act of choice.

As most understand, enslaved people need to be purchased to transfer ownership. The price that Christ was burdened with was His Life. Remember that God the Father honors the system of releasing a slave. He kept to the rules and placed this price tag on His Son. Jesus knew He had to go to the Cross of Death to make this payment, and He willingly paid the price required by the old master - death. While Satan thought he had finally won the mastery battle, he didn't expect Jesus to be resurrected. Furthermore, he didn't expect the Father to place Jesus's resurrected Life into authentic believers on Pentecost.  And he certainly didn't plan for acts of the indwelling Life to be the standard from Pentecost forward, releasing millions through the generations from being under the slavery of sin to being bondslaves unto Christ.

What is a demonic master to do?

Folks, this is theology 101. Satan developed a system of deception - silencing the lambs of God. He probably thinks that if he can silence the real-deal believers and the authentic Gospel, transferring mastery to him will fix Jesus's plans to reach an enslaved people through conversion where Jesus comes to live in the born-again believers. Sad to say, his plan is working, which confirms what Jesus said, that the road to destruction is wide, and many are on it, and the road to Heaven is narrow, and few are on it (Matthew 7:13-14).

We must remember that God is not into numbers. He is into gathering the faithful few who will authentically honor Him as God, accept Jesus as their Life, and remain committed to the absolute doctrines and requirements to enter the gate, which grants eternal Life to all who enter by His indwelling faith.

The Leading Cause of Christian Passivity.

Modern Christians tend to be intimidated by cultural movements so much that droves are suffering from the temptation to renounce their faith in Christ. So, what would be the leading cause of this demonic passivity? The fear of fronting demonic doctrines and movements.

Our subject, Preeminent Cultural Darkness - the 30-part Substack series, tackles these demonic doctrines and movements head-on. While you would think Christians would be the example of battling the enemy's tactics, research proves they are not. Most integrate demonic doctrines into their lukewarm faith, resulting in a compromised testimony, causing the believer to fade into a social gospel.

Our mission is to separate darkness from light while empowering the people OF Light (Jesus Christ) to shine forth in darkness to deliver the people of darkness into the Kingdom of Light and Life.  Therefore, our bottom line is that authentic Christians should not be silent in advancing the Gospel THROUGH culture and not refrain due to culture. -Dr. Stephen Phinney

  • THE COLOSSIANS SEREIS

Do you desire freedom, victory, focus, and practice of the indwelling Life of Christ?

This study on the book of Colossians will rock your world, renew your mind, and transform your view of the supremacy of Jesus Christ.

Is Christ enough for your daily living? Is His indwelling Life satisfying enough? Do you tend to listen to false teachers unknowingly? This series will address these questions and many more.

Stay with us as we explore Biblical Paul's letter to a church that was slipping into modern heretical teachings, tempting the Colossians to question the supremacy, deity, and sufficiency of Jesus Christ.

AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT’S TO COME

Imagine a group of born-again indwelt believers who were solid in their faith in Jesus Christ. Then, they began listening to outsiders who dispersed seeds of doubt regarding the all-sufficiency of the very Savior that saved their mortal souls.

The mission and purpose of the biblical Colossians church was to worship and serve Jesus Christ, who is the Lord of all creation and the head of the church. The Colossians church was also called to grow in spiritual maturity and resist false teachings that would undermine their indwelling faith in Christ and their identity in Him.

The Colossians church was founded by Epaphras, a convert of Paul, who shared the gospel with the people of Colossae, a small city in Asia Minor. Paul wrote a letter to the Colossians from prison, probably in Rome, around A.D. 62, to encourage them, correct them, and instruct them on how to live as Christians in the world. Some of the main themes of Paul’s letter are:

    * The supremacy and sufficiency of Christ. Paul affirms that Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, the creator and sustainer of all things, the head of the church, the reconciler of all things, and the fullness of God (Col. 1:15-20; 2:9-10). He also declares that Christ has defeated the powers of darkness on the cross and has given believers a new life and identity in Christ (Col. 2:11-15; 3:1-4).

    * The dangers of false teachings. Paul warns the Colossians against being deceived by human philosophy, Jewish legalism, pagan mysticism, and asceticism, which would rob them of the riches and freedom they have in Christ (Col. 2:4-23). He urges them to hold fast to Christ, the head, and to follow His WORD, not the traditions of men (Col. 2:6-8, 19; 3:16).

    * The implications of the Gospel for daily Christian living. Paul exhorts the Colossians to put to death their earthly passions and to put on the new self, which is being renewed in the image of Christ (Col. 3:5-10). He also instructs them to cultivate virtues of the indwelling Life of Christ, such as compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, forgiveness, love, peace, and gratitude (Col. 3:12-17). He also gives specific guidelines for the authentic believer’s households, such as wives, husbands, children, parents, slaves, and masters (Col. 3:18-4:1). He also encourages them to pray, to be wise, and to share the Gospel with others (Col. 4:2-6).

    THE COMPLIMENT

Paul, known for his love and compassion, begins his letter by complimenting the Colossians of their faith, love, and fruitfulness as a local Church body (1:4-6).

“Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints; because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth…” (Colossians 1:4-6)

Revealing Paul’s leadership responsibilities, he declares how often he prays they will be filled with knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual understanding, honoring and pleasing the Lord and increasing in their indwelling knowledge OF Him (1:9-12).

    THEN COMES THE CORRECTION

Since the Colossian Church was one of the youngest at the time, Paul understood they were ripe targets for Satan’s liberal teachers – to lead them astray from the absolutes of the Gospel and full dependence on the Life of Christ that lived within all believers in Christ. Paul reminds them that it was the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus that brought them salvation (1:15-23). However, some local teachers were deceiving this young fellowship with ideations that Christ was not enough. Paul believed that this false teaching struck at the heart of the Gospel.

One of the majors of Paul’s teachings was refuting the need for religious rules and regulations (2:16-19). In this, when Paul received intel that false teachers were attempting to impose a religious system on his new converts, he was compelled to remind the fellowship that their salvation came via the Grace of Jesus.

Paul, being a well-groomed teacher of the Law and Grace of Jesus, could have dismantled the false teachers one by one. He did not. He went to the reciprocator of such teachings – the Colossians Church – laboring them with the challenge of such attacks from false teachers strike at the very heart of the Gospel.

Since Paul avoided dismantling the false tenets item by item, he went on the offensive, representing Jesus in all His glory and majesty, declaring that the indwelling Life of Jesus “is the image of the invisible God” and that in Christ ALL the fulness of the Living God was represented in the believer within their mortal souls in and through Him, He reconciles Himself unto all things, every struggle, temptation, and doubt. He reminds them that all this is accomplished through the blood of the Cross, which activates a sound mind and peace that rises above all circumstances (1:15, 19, 20). In other words, he wanted his converts to experientially understand that Christ alone is enough. Leaving them with the reality that no other person, being, or knowledge is needed in order to know the One true indwelling God and Savior.

We find in the first half of this letter Paul resets their minds on the understanding of Jesus, and the spiritual freedom He provides is found inwardly, if authentically saved, within their souls. He goes on to remind them in chapters three to four of how to properly live out the Truth in their daily lives. He admonishes them with the Truth that practical living of the indwelling Life is a result of proper doctrines, and living out the Truth advances exhortations by being an example to observers.

An immovable doctrine noted in the book of Colossians is authentic spirituality is not based on humans but on the rules of God, not those established by humans, or their religious institutions. These eternal rules are rooted in the sufficiency of Jesus alone, who fulfilled the rules without the assistance of humanity. The Laws of the Spirit of Life are the pathway to freedom, not a road to returning to bondage. These eternal rules, if acted upon, produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit through selfless obedience, not the selfishness of legalism found in humanity’s institutions.

Our Colossians Series is the twin letter of the book of Hebrews – in a way it exalts the person of Jesus Christ and defends the all-sufficiency of the indwelling Life of Jesus. This series will answer the question of the “why” many of Paul’s church-plants deluded into pluralism. Don’t miss this series.

  • Cultural Cognitive Warfare

    2024 ESSENTIAL PROPHECIES IN ACTION

Cognitive warfare is a new form of brainwashing that targets the human mind and influences how people think, act, and make decisions - ultimately forming a covert identity that matches a depraved society. It uses cyber, information, psychological, and social engineering capabilities to sow doubt, confusion, and division in the minds of society - particularly in moderate thinkers who can be persuaded to “go either way.” It can have limited or strategic aims, and it can be waged by state, non-state, or global manipulators. Some well-documented examples of cognitive warfare are:

    * Disrupting the power grid of a nation or sectors of a nation and spreading false or divisive narratives on social media to undermine the relationship between the local population and their government, churches, or individualized beliefs in Jesus Christ.

    * Launching cyberattacks on critical infrastructure and spreading fake news or deep fake videos to erode public trust in Christianity, the Jewish community, certain government officials, or the electoral process of conservative candidates.

    * Exploiting existing social, ethnic, or religious tensions and using online platforms to radicalize, recruit, or mobilize individuals or groups for violent or disruptive actions that set socialist groups apart from those who support a representative democracy led by a Constitution.

    * Brainwashing online readers through posted content from well-meaning friends, family members, or individuals whitewashed by marginal truths and ideations.

When it comes to the indwelt Christian’s mind, if not grounded in the Word of God and its prophetic notations, Cognitive Warfare becomes the perfect tool of the enemy to deceive even the elect.

"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:24)

As indwelt Christians, we are not immune to this threat, and we need to be aware of the tactics and strategies that our adversaries use to manipulate us - Cognitive Warfare is the leading methodology to accomplish this.

If the believer is NOT well grounded in the Word of God, not just a reader, we have no ability to discern half-baked truths (ideas that are 75% accurate with 25% embedded lies). In this misnomer, we regurgitate the 75% while the 25% begins to grow like a cancer in our minds. Over time, the lies dominate and win hands down. The believer shifts from being a moderate, or marginal Christian to that of a liberal thinker. Meanwhile, the conservative believers who are NOT equipped with the immovable TRUTHS of the Word of God find themselves incompetent in reaching a lost world - only to use the Word of God as a hammer of sorts versus a tool to refute half-baked words of truth. In the end, both types of Christians fall short of transforming lives in Christ.

We also need to be resilient and rely on the faith of Jesus within our mortal souls, His values, and His community of authentic believers to resist the lies and deception that seek to undermine our identity and purpose. We real-deal Christians believe that God has given us the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind in Christ (2 Timothy 1:7), and we can use these gifts to discern Christ as Truth and stand firm in our convictions. We should not be afraid of cognitive warfare, but those of us who are prepared to face it with courage and wisdom will find true evangelism.

Cognitive warfare is a serious threat to the security and stability of the authentic Gospel of Jesus Christ. For those filled with the Life of Christ, the Holy Spirit, the manifestation of awareness, resilience, and countermeasures to defend the full TRUTH, and nothing but the TRUTH, Jesus, is where the answer rests in the battle against the covert deceptions hidden behind the walls of Cognitive Warfare.

    My prediction?

Cognitive Warfare will be the essential strategy of the upcoming Antichrist. He WILL make use of the above-mentioned four methodologies to disrupt the thinkers of both Christians and haters of God. Satan will use the deception of “opinions” over that of God’s absolutes. Those who live by the absolutes of God’s immovable facts have NO self-opinion that matters.

If authentic believers refuse to use the internet as a mission field, in due time, these so-called believers will be the mission field for folks like me to evangelize.

  • GIVING: Giving with NO Return

Giving your life away to others is a central TRUTH in the Bible. It involves putting aside our own desires and focusing on serving God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and others.

The Bible teaches us that giving is not just a one-time act, but a continuous process of releasing the GIVER with us. We are called to give generously and sacrificially, even when it is difficult, challenging, or painful.

Here are some Bible verses that highlight the importance of giving:

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” (Luke 6:38).

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased” (Hebrews 13:16).

Giving your life away to others is a powerful way to show God’s love to the world while teaching others the practical aspects of releasing Christ from within. It allows us to experience true freedom and joy as we serve others and make a positive impact on the world and on the lives of others.

  • 2024 Election Year

Personal identity plays a crucial role in the 2024 elections.

It’s through our unique identities that we form our political beliefs and values. These beliefs and values, in turn, guide our choices in the voting booth.

Recognizing and respecting the different personal identities in our society is essential for a healthy democracy. It ensures that a wide range of perspectives are considered, leading to more inclusive and representative policies. However, for indwelt Christians, it’s important for every voter to understand their personal identity in Christ, to educate themselves on the issues, and to vote according to their beliefs in the Word of God in the 2024 elections. Remember, every vote counts and contributes to shaping the future of our society & culture.

A Christian’s identity as a believer can significantly influence their voting behavior. Their faith, values, and teachings of the Holy Word of God can guide their political decisions. For instance, issues such as social justice, the sanctity of life, religious freedom, and care for the poor, which are often emphasized in indwelt Christian teachings, should impact their choice of candidates or policies. It’s important to note that Christians, like all voters, tend to be diverse with a wide range of political beliefs - sad to say. True indwelt believers should vote with the mind of Christ from within. Therefore, while their faith forms an integral part of their identity, it doesn’t entirely define their political views. However, if Jesus Christ’s mind votes within all members of the Body of Christ, I can assure you He won’t vote in differing ways within each believer. Count on it!

This is likely the most important election year in American history. As with all citizens, it’s crucial for Christian believers to engage in the democratic process, make informed decisions, and vote in alignment with the indwelling mind of Christ.

  • FAITHFULNESS: Faithfulness Reflects Your Faith

Faithfulness in Christ is a central theme in the Bible and the indwelling Life of the believer. It refers to the steadfastness and loyalty of God towards His people and the commitment of believers to release Christ and remain true to His teachings.

The Bible teaches us that faithfulness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, which is produced in the lives of believers as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. It is a quality that is highly valued in the indwelt Christian faith and is demonstrated through obedience, perseverance, and trust in the inward Life of Christ.

Here are some Bible verses that highlight the importance of faithfulness:

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart” (Proverbs 3:3).

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” (Matthew 25:23).

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” (Galatians 5:22).

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7).

  • SEVEN SEIRES: #9 The Seven Trumpets

The Seven Trumpets of Revelation, as described in the Book of Revelation (Chapters 8-11), represent a series of divine judgments that will be brought upon the earth during the Great Tribulation. Each trumpet, sounded by an angel, signifies a different type of judgment affecting the earth, seas, water, sky, and people.

These events are believed to occur after the breaking of the seventh seal. The trumpets are not only instruments of judgment but also serve as a response to the prayers of the martyrs who were killed for their faith and beliefs in Jesus Christ, as well as the 144,000 pure-bloodline Jews persecuted during the Great Tribulation. The final three trumpets, also known as the ‘woe trumpets,’ intensify in their impact. The sounding of these trumpets is a profound symbol of the power of God’s justice and the seriousness of human sin.

And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them. (Revelation 8:3-6)

Within this passage, in a priestly mode, an angel stands before God with a golden censer in hand. The incense rising from this censer is the aroma of all the prayers from Saints who sacrificed their lives for their devotion to Jesus Christ. The smoke from the incense represented the actual prayers of those Saints – pleading for justice and revenge on the enemy who persecuted Jesus through their devotion to Him. In short, they are begging for the Living God to act. God hears them, and decides now is the time to answer each and every prayer…

  • FORGIVENESS: The Power of Indwelling Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a powerful TRUTH in the Bible. It is one of the most beautiful words in the human vocabulary and is best illustrated by God’s forgiveness of sin THROUGH His Son. When someone sins against us, they bear a terrible guilt. Likewise, when we refuse to forgive a wrong, we become part of the problem - we become a part of their sin.

Forgiveness is not only important for our spiritual well-being, but it also has a positive impact on our physical and emotional health. Studies have shown that forgiveness can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and improve overall well-being. However, the greatest benefit is it releases us to walk in and through the Holy Spirit. Thus, causing us to walk in completeness in Christ.

The Bible teaches us that forgiveness is not just a one-time act but a continuous process. We are called to forgive others as we have been forgiven by God, through Christ, via the Holy Spirit. This means that we must be willing to forgive even when it is difficult or painful.

Here are some Bible verses that highlight the importance of forgiveness:

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13).

“And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins” (Mark 11:25).

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins” (Matthew 6:14-15).
