Video, By Heart, Worship | Man’s opinions, or laws, are subjective and relative. When we attempt to function under our “opinion” on a matter, we determine what is “good” and “evil” according to the mind of Satan. We then see that whatever is personally thought at present to be beneficial to “self” is the law and doctrines of God, twisted as that may sound. On the other hand, since God’s Law is absolute, He determines whatever He, out of His infinite goodness, justice, and love, states to be ultimately for man’s blessing and His glory. If He decides to reject anything that is inconsistent with His perfect will, He then categorically labels it as evil. This Truth is immovable and man’s “opinion” cannot change what is absolute in the Kingdom of God.

Whatever was personally thought at the time to be beneficial to the existing leadership or who they considered of greatest importance, rule the day! Our present culture seems to reject most authorities by their own consensus and therefore perceive parents, pastors, civic leaders as a threat to their self-established lifestyle and culture. Therefore, their conclusion is, most of the actions from their authorities are unreasonable and have NOT earned their respect and willingness to submit to their guidance!

We, without a doubt, live in a culture that is filled with people who have bitter jealousy, selfish ambition, arrogant and certainly lie against the Truth. At every turn in the Millennial generation we find a people who shout above the wisdom of their parents, pastors and civil leaders – proclaiming things that are not only heresy but obstinate in their own stupidity. Being a people who are so ignorant, they cannot see that their self-proclaimed wisdom has been handed down to them by Satan himself. Therefore, we have a culture that is filled with disorder and every evil thing.

Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

The outward respect due to old age is being revealed to us here with the immediate connection with the fear of God. The word honor in this passage is hadar, meaning to show favor. This gives us a direct connection to how we can maintain personal favor from the Lord. If children do not show proper fear and favor toward their parents, the conclusive evidence being stated here is the child will have no fear of God Himself & those that don’t fear God are confessing they do not have His indwelling!

Statistics show us that this present generation does not only dishonor gray haired elders – they are the generation pushing for euthanasia – putting to death the aged. Now that the Millennials are policy changers, we have countries around the world already practicing murdering their parents through euthanasia, a “legal” form of: Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. (Matthew 10:21)

The love of strong drink will drag a preacher of righteousness into the cave of despair. But if our fathers sin, let us not parade or tell their faults – as in the case of Ham, but cover them with the mantle of divine love. We may despise the sin, but let us restore such an one in the spirit of meekness, remembering that we also may be tempted. (Gal. 6:1-18 :l-4). Honor should always rule over disclosure of sin. God has been made known in their dark places of human weakness.

We are just now springing forth from a generation that honored the basic infrastructure of family life that was Biblical in its foundation – Christian or not. Yes, you read that right – Christian or not.

For centuries now, family life was as traditional as the authentic/original Bible itself - centuries where the Church provided the identity and infrastructure for culture, that is up to 1982. In fact, it wasn’t until year 2000 that our sociologists were faced with the reality of our dilemma.
