People with PRIDE take pride in the identities of the Old Man and rub their flesh in the face of Jesus Christ – taking joy in the sufferings of others. People of HUMILITY and brokenness take joy in the in-grafting into Christ, a being formed and newly created in Christ, a living and abiding in Him, and a growing and bringing forth fruit through Him in order to suffer with others.

People with PRIDE rarely take baths, spiritually that is. They seem to sanctify their own works by justifying & protecting their own name. On the other hand, people of HUMILITY and brokenness embrace being washed with the Word, sanctified in suffering and justified by the protective name of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

People with PRIDE do everything they can to fight against death of self, the “I” or the desire to be broken by God or anyone else. The Truth of the matter is, people of HUMILITY and brokenness are overwhelmed with the desire to die or to kill their self-life, for they know that it is a God given desire to “die daily.”

Theme of message: People with PRIDE do not respond to authority as if they are dealing with God but rather that of mere men. On the other hand, people of HUMILITY and brokenness respond to all authority appropriating that fact that whoever resist authority opposes the ordinances of the living God (Rom. 13:2).

Brokenness: New Covenant Living reveals how people with PRIDE often times where a sign around their necks that says: “Never fail when you are around me and if you do, I will deny you the privilege of having relationship with me.” This message also conveys how people of HUMILITY and brokenness are comfortable with people failing around them due to their trust in Jesus using His kindness from within to lead those who sin unto Himself.

Pathway to New Covenant reveals how people with PRIDE typically walk a pathway that involves sights, sounds and the touch of what screams reality – like, “ what I see, hear and feel is what IS true.” On the other hand, people of HUMILITY and brokenness walk a pathway that closely reveals the new covenant of Christ Jesus – that of “the life that I now live, I live by the faith of Christ in me.” Hear More . . .

People with PRIDE typically carve out their own path and passage of security. When they fail at doing this – they are quick to blame those around them for their laziness. People of HUMILITY and brokenness are dependent and closely connected to the pathway of the deeper life, that of Jesus carving out His way in and through them.
