Let's chat about how it's ok if you're going through a season of life that feels really tiring & too much. I'm here to encourage you that it's not all terrible to endure this time in your life.

I think a lot of us may be feeling tired & drained by whatever is going on in our lives right now. It doesn’t really matter what it is specifically, but that it’s causing these feelings & it’s not healthy to bathe in this sea of emotions for too long.
It’s important to acknowledge what we are going through, figure out what is causing us to feel anxious, overwhelmed, tired, irritated, disengaged or whatever it is because we want to know what is triggering us or causing us to get to this stage of feeling like it all might be too much.
Also by taking the time to identify what is instigating these feelings, you can work on making any appropriate changes, if possible. You’re not always going to be able to fix the situation or make any changes right now. Sometimes the most you can do is shift your mindset to be more hopeful for the time being. And this is when it can be the hardest to deal with your struggles.
On this show, I speak a lot on making the necessary changes that you need to for your life to be better, but let’s be honest, you can’t always do that. Sometimes you’re stuck. And I needed to make sure I mentioned this because I am not about giving false hope. Sometimes life can be not as forgiving & flexible as we want it to be & we have to be patient & wait it out.
For me, I have to take each day one at a time or I will lose it. I will just lose my mind & that really doesn’t help anyone. When we are having rough days/weeks/months, it can easily cast a shadow over everyone else in our lives if we don’t reel in our feelings & watch how we are word vomiting on everyone else. Don’t get me wrong, we are entitled to our feelings & expressing those, but we need to be cognizant of how it could affect someone if we are doing it in the wrong setting.
Some people just blurt out whatever is on their mind & in their heart. And this can be therapeutic for the person expressing themself but hurtful for others. I need you to know that sometimes it’s just not the right time to share your true feelings about something or someone. You have to feel out the situation & who will be receiving what you’re throwing out.
I'm going to share with you what I am doing that is helping, because I’m in a place where I can change things, but it’s not super easy to do so.
For me, being in control of as much of my routine is super helpful. Working out every day is really great for me. I also love to read, which is something I have loved most of my life. Video games are always a good distraction! Talking to you all is so helpful & I feel like I am providing something helpful back to the world. And the last thing I will mention is keeping my house clean. They say that the disorganization around you is mirrored in your mind. I believe this wholeheartedly.
