I'm sure you've heard of stress drinking with alcohol, but what about with water. When I'm stressed, my heart rate gets high and my need for water increases; or at least it feels like it does. But the dry mouth and thirsty feeling were not always indicative of a need for water, but rather symptoms that I was stressed or anxious and that's what I needed to get under control.
