Realizing what's happening around the world in real time is really hard. In 2008 it took people years to realize/admit we were in recession.

It's hard to tell when things are happening because it's within our nature to find the positive in everything, and also because it's hard to look towards the future.

Today we're being told we're about to head into a recession, but in my opinion is to divert our attention from the war we're living through. Allow me to explain!

Everyone and their mom seems to think that inflation is now a thing of the past! It's incredible to see how bad of a memory we have as humans. It's only been a week where oil prices ARE NOT AS HIGH as before and now everyone seems to be screaming victory!

Are they right? I don't think so, and here's why I'm getting too old for this shirt!

The market picked up a few levels towards the upside, and people are already calling THIS IS THE BOTTOM.

Sadly, it's like no one remembers 2008 and what the bottom of a real recession feels like. It's been too many years and people have forgotten how it looks/feels to be in a real crisis, so I'm here to ruin your day and remind you.

We've been discussing this market and how there is nothing we can do to see a single ray of sunshine while traveling through the tunnel, and this remains the same. Even though we had a huge meltdown in crypto prices, I wouldn't rush to buy in right now. Lots of downside still expected, lets chat about it.

We need to realize that we are facing a gigantic epidemic within our country. The fact that we put money in front of lives is absolutely terrible and disgusting.

We like to think that other countries do the same, and that's the way the world works, but sadly you'll be wrong if that's how you think.

We are living in unprecedented times, especially in modern history! We are coming off a pandemic around the world, while China goes back as if it was starting all over again. We are in the middle of an energy crisis that is only getting worse, and the markets keep getting crushed by man made policy.
