I’m With The Boyband

It's Boyband of the Week time with Brother Beyond! So-named because they were the only boyband at the time featuring brothers (they weren't) and the greatest cheekbones in boyband history. Listen in to find out why the Bros fans loved them (they didn't) and how they timd their meteoric rise just as our fangirl friends in the US were crying out for a boyband to fill their vacant boyband hole (that New Kids filled rather nicely)...

Anyways, did we mention the cheekbones? COME FOR THE CHEEKBONES, stay for the one named Fysh, the other one named after part of an egg, and the other other one who's just called Steve.

Boybandologists (and true crime enthusiasts) Zoe and Amy blend their interests and put their sleuth skills to the test trying to figure out who are the mystery singers on The Masked Singer UK - from the car during a stakeout in, well, Woking.

Contains potential ***SPOILERS*** because we absolutely think we’re right, although we don't have any insider info so it really just contains potential bragging rights for being little smart *****.  Let us know if you agree with our conclusions or if you’ve out Marple-d us

Amy and Zoe are back to celebrate friendship with their podcast besties Ashley and Christine from Girl Were You Alone, the best *NSYNC podcast out there!

We talk about which other boybands the girls would stan, what they felt about meeting and interviewing boyband members in 2019 and have an overall round up on their 2019.

Sorry for the longest episode title ever, but, boybands happen this week...

Boybandologists Zoe and Amy fell into a boyband blackhole as they tell the story of new generation boyband Roadtrip, but traverse back in the boyband time machine to X Factor addicts 4th Ba5e, and come back to the present day via M4, The Young Hearts, Westend Boys, Boulevard, East 17 (for really!), Code Red, Brooklyn, Rewind, Triple J, GMD3 aka District 3, Union J, Overload aka Overload Generation, and bang up to date with Roadtrip.

It's all down to singing songwriting-XFactor addict Blair Dreelan, whose dance steps are printed across a multitude of boybands through the last two decades.

Will this rich boyband legacy push any of them into the Ultimate Boyband Chart Top Ten? Or will they barely make a dent in our top 50?

We're baaaaack! Amy and Zoe launch into tales of their adventures when they 'gatecrashed' their way into the 'And Juliet' press night in the West End en route to see Ultimate Boyband Chart toppers McFly play their first gig in ten years. Find out which boybanders upset Amy, who the world's first (and only) Boybandologosts have been hanging out with and a general catch up of the last few weeks.
