The book of Ruth is a story of redemption. God provided redemption to Naomi, Ruth, Boaz and God’s people through the story of Naomi and Ruth. Ultimately redemption came through Ruth’s only named son: Obed, who would become King David’s grandfather and part of Jesus’s ancestry.
