Today I want to draw a firetruck. We'll draw a big one with a place for the drivers, a place for gauges, and the big long back for the hose, the extra compartments, and the ladder. Of course we'll add flashing lights on top. We'll also talk about how emergency signals like sirens and alarms can be loud--but they're there to help us.
Here are 3 ideas your imagination can wonder about based on our drawing today:
- Why do firefighters have to learn so much to be ready to fight fires?
- Are you the type of artist you likes to draw very accurately, very abstractly, or both?
- How can you make sure your family is prepared during an emergency?
If you like this one and want to try more fire safety, try drawing a firefighter. Or maybe your artist wants to draw more trucks? How about the monster trucks jumping from a ramp.
If this episode wasn't your style, how about a fancy princess? Or a yellow submarine floating by an octopus's garden.
Imagination Draw Along is an intentionally low stimulation show that gives artists space to develop confidence in decision making-- because there’s no wrong way to do art.
