He is Jehovah Shalom - God our peace. Through Him we can have peace that surpasses understanding no matter the circumstances.

We can never meet God's standard of righteousness in our own efforts but through Jesus we can be made righteous in God's eyes. To be righteous is to accept God's grace over our lives which leads to right living.
