In this powerful episode, I sit down with Derrick Frank, an Atlanta-based entrepreneur and pastor, who shares his incredible testimony of how God met him at the absolute lowest point of his life. Derrick grew up attending church but was living someone else's religion. After serving in the military, he fell into drug dealing. He eventually found himself wrongly accused of first-degree murder and trapped in the bottom level of a jail reserved for the most serious offenders. She is trained in EMDR, an evidence-based trauma therapy, and is also a certified Daring Way™ Facilitator.

Heidi brings a unique blend of clinical training, faith, and life experience to her work. She owned and led a mental health practice for 16 years, and along the way she discovered the powerful difference it makes when faith is invited into the counseling room. She has seen powerful transformation in people’s lives—not because of human effort alone, but because of the healing power of Jesus.

In addition to her therapy practice, Heidi is ordained through Patricia King’s Women in Ministry Network, has studied at Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry, and completed Love Says Go Academy. She is also a podcast host and author, committed to sharing encouragement and hope with others.
