For this week's entry I will be doing a cover of the song "create in me a new heart"originally sang by Donnie McClurkin. Seeing the theme of this week contest, the first song that came to mind was create in me a clean heart by Donnie McClurkin. I know questions to be asked like why this song but I'm going to state my reasons why I sang this song.

Firstly, the lyrics of the song cry out and shows one's sincerity for spiritual renewal just like the song says create in me a clean heart and renew my spirit.

And it also a psalm inspired song. The song is based on Psalm 51:10 which says create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.

The song also expresses a really strong desire to turn away from your bad ways and a renewed commitment to spiritual growth. Listen to the song can give you a renewed sense of purpose and a dedication to higher power.
