1. Astaghfirullah literally translates to "I seek forgiveness in Allah". ... That is to say that Allah is the greater or that goodness comes from Allah. 2. Jazakallah (Arabic: جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ, jazāka -llāh) or Jazāk Allāhu Khayran (جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ خَيْرًا, jazāka -llāhu khayran) is a term used as an Islamic expression of gratitude meaning "May God reward you [with] goodness." 3. Jazakallah (khair) means May Allah reward you (with good). There are many responses to this: wa iyyakum (and you too); wa anta fa jazakallah khair (and you too, May Allah reward you with good); and Barakallah feek (May Allah bless you). 4. Allahu Akbar a phrase meaning ‘allah is most great ' 5. Mashallah (Arabic: مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ, mā shāʾ -llāhu), also spelled mashaAllah or ma sha Allah, is an Arabic phrase that means "what God ( allah) has willed" and is used to express appreciation, joy, praise, or thankfulness for an event or person that was just mentioned.
