Pastor Will Donato - John 4:23-24

As Pastor Will begins a three part series entitled "The Christmas Scandal", we reflect on our object of worship during this Christmas season. Are we focused on the secular and commercial aspects, or are we seeking to worship and serve Jesus? We also see, from the events surrounding Christ's birth, that God calls everyone, from kings to shepherds, to worship our King and Redeemer.

Pastor Ryan Diffenderfer - 2 Samuel 9:1-9

Mephibosheth was a man who experienced great loss, pain and frustration. He thought of himself as a "dead dog", but King David restored his hope by offering him a seat at the king's table. Beyond our brokenness, weakness, and sin, God has sent Christ as our invitation to the King's table.

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Pastor Ryan

reminded us that it does not say we should do all things, or will do all things,

but that we can do what we are called to do through Christ. We cannot

separate the "I can" from the "through Christ".

As we celebrate Veterans Day, we're reminded that many have served

and died so that we can experience freedom in America. As citizens of

the kingdom of God, we know that the death and resurrection of Jesus

has given us freedom from sin & death. We should walk each day with

that in mind

Prayer is the Christian's greatest weapon. We are in a spiritual battle, and we must be persistent in prayer to see the victory. Deal with the things that can hinder our prayers, and then watch to see Him work. Individual and corporate prayer brings results.

If we want things to change, we need to be exposed to new things. Sometimes we're exposed to struggle and pain, but we gain strength and endurance. God wants to impart a vision for each of us, but we must step into the future with

faith in a loving, promise keeping God.

Pastor Will Donato - Romans 1:8-15

Paul shows 2 priorities for effective ministry. It's a balance of loving all people, and yet staying focused on God's call. We are called to meet certain needs, not all needs. We must be priority directed, not people pressured. Like Jesus, we must love everyone, but be about our Father's business.

Rev. Charles McCracken - Leviticus 23:39-43

In this season of the Fall Feasts, Rev. McCracken addresses the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot. It's a time to rejoice in God's provision in the past, and to hope for the future, because of the promises of the Messiah. It's an annual opportunity to joyfully praise God, and to serve Him wholeheartedly.

As we conclude the series on The Turning Point, we affirm that the death and resurrection of Jesus was the central event in human history. At that point, He conferred new authority on His followers. Ordinary men were now able to do extraordinary ministry through God-given authority. He continues to do that today.
