In this second sermon of the series on the Westminster Shorter Catechism, Pastor James Khongsai unfolds the glorious truth that Scripture alone is the perfect, sufficient, and authoritative rule for glorifying and enjoying God.
From the soul-reviving law of the Lord to the pure, enlightening commandment, Psalm 19:7–14 reveals how God’s Word shapes our worship, guides our obedience, corrects our hearts, and guards us from hidden and presumptuous sins.
Whether you are new to Reformed theology or deeply rooted in the Confession, this sermon will strengthen your confidence in the inerrant and all-sufficient Word of God.
In this sermon titled “Looking Unto Jesus” (Hebrews 12:1–15) by RE Aaron Vanderhorst, we are reminded that Christ is not only the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, but every letter in between. He is the sustaining presence in every step of our race of faith. When we take our eyes off Him and focus on the waves around us, like Peter, we begin to sink. But even then, Jesus stands near, ready to stretch forth His hand and lift us up.
This message continues the theme from RE Aaron’s previous sermon, “One Thing Needful,” which drew from the story of Mary and Martha and emphasized the importance of sitting at Jesus’ feet. Now, in “Looking Unto Jesus,” we are called not only to sit and listen but to run with endurance, keeping our eyes fixed on the author and finisher of our faith.
In this sermon from Luke 19:1-10, we witness one of the most powerful encounters in Scripture: Jesus meeting Zacchaeus, a sinner whom society despised. Through this passage, we see the radical, personal, and transformative nature of Christ’s saving grace. No heart is too hardened, no past too sinful, and no life too far gone for the mercy of the Savior.
Be encouraged as we look to the One who “came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10) and rejoice in His grace that reaches even the most unlikely.

When a sinner is justified by faith in Jesus Christ, he enters into a new and glorious relationship with God. In this powerful sermon, Rev. James Khongsai unfolds the sevenfold fruits of our justification as revealed in Romans 5:6–11, reminding us that all these blessings flow from Christ alone.
From peace with God to rejoicing in God Himself, the Apostle Paul points us to the rich grace that is ours because of Christ’s finished work on the cross. This message calls every believer to rest in the assurance that our salvation is complete and our joy is found only in Him.
True joy and lasting peace belong to those who are justified by faith, and all these blessings are ours in Christ alone, who is the only source of our peace, hope, and joy.
Listen. Reflect. Rejoice in the Gospel.
In this soul-stirring sermon, “The Redeeming Power of the Risen Christ,” Bro. Amal David invites us to behold the mercy of Jesus through the eyes of Mary Magdalene — a woman once tormented by seven demons, yet first to witness the Risen Lord.
Discover how Christ’s resurrection reveals:
Rooted deeply in Scripture and Reformed thought — drawing from Calvin, Watson, Owen, Beeke, and Spurgeon — this message calls weary saints to find rest in the Redeemer who calls each one of us by name.
Listen, reflect, and be renewed by the Risen Christ’s redeeming power.

Is God the centre of everything in our life? Are we holding God in the highest esteem? Do we love God only for His blessings? Or do we love Him for who He is? In this powerful sermon, Rev. James Khongsai unpacks the timeless truth of the Westminster Shorter Catechism’s opening question: “What is the chief end of man?” —To glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. Through Psalm 16 and Psalm 86, we are invited to rediscover a life centered on Appreciating God, Adoring God in keeping with the Biblical Design for Worship (Regulative Principle), having the right Affection for God and being in Subjection to God, all this to truly to glorify Him.
Join us as we reflect on what it truly means to find our satisfaction and delight in God alone. Come and be refreshed in your purpose to glorify and enjoy God forever.
“But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:42)
Amid the noise of service, schedules, and striving, Jesus gently reminds us that only one thing is truly needful: to sit at His feet and listen. In this sermon, we enter the home of Martha and Mary to learn that it is far better to be a good disciple than a perfect host.
When we trade communion for commotion, we lose sight of the very One we serve. Christ calls us to choose the better portion that will never be taken away from us. Sermon titled: “One Thing Needful”. Preached by RE Aaron Vanderhorst at Immanuel International Church, New Delhi on Lord’s Day, 12th October 2025.

At our monthly cottage prayer meeting, Bro. Amal David reflects on the unfailing friendship of our Lord Jesus Christ, exploring what it means to know Jesus as our Saviour and Companion for eternity. Through Scripture, personal and other narratives, the exhortation shows us how Christ is a friend like no other; in that He is never distant, never failing, and never ceasing to provide for His people.
While earthly friendships may fade, the love of Jesus endures, carrying us through trials, comforting us in grief, and anchoring us in the eternal hope of the gospel. Whether you are weary, wounded, or longing for deeper fellowship with Him, may this message remind you that true friendship is found in the Son of God.
Preached on the day of an infant baptism at Immanuel International Church, this sermon by Rev. Abhishek Das points us to God’s covenant faithfulness. Baptism is not about our pledge of allegiance to God, but about God’s pledge to us: a sign and a seal of a promise that we and our children belong to His covenant community. Much like a wedding ring or a newborn’s bracelet, our baptism marks us out as His. Rooted in the Scriptures and historic confessions, this message reminds us yet again that salvation truly is of the LORD, and His promise stretches from Abraham, all the way down to us today.
Ruling Elder Anso George Alex continues his series on 1 Peter, and this time he endeavors to delve into the vital role of God’s Word in the life of every believer. Drawing from 1 Peter 1:22–2:3, this sermon highlights how Scripture nourishes our souls, shapes our conduct, and anchors our faith. Listeners are encouraged to crave the pure milk of God’s Word, allowing it to transform their hearts, strengthen their faith, and guide them in holiness. Discover the enduring necessity of God’s Word for spiritual growth and steadfast devotion.
