Have you ever been reading your Bible and suddenly thought, “I wish Jesus hadn’t said that?” Today we tackle one of the most culturally challenging things Jesus ever said. “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery,” Mark 10:11-12. With more than half of all Americans having been divorced at least once, this is a very hard thing to hear. Today we will explore what the Bible really says about divorce and how we should respond to it in our lives, our church, and our community.
