This episode is one from our archives. Over the COVID pandemic we were joined by a number of leading HCI researchers. These talks mean a lot to us as they kept us thinking about HCI related issues in those difficult times. In this episode we are joined by Dr Julie Williamson, Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Julie is a leading voice within ACM SIGCHI on social virtual and extended reality (VR/XR) and immersive worlds. Here she talks about her work on using these technologies for real world impact and what the future holds for immersive technologies.
