hi everyone! today’s episode as you can see is about immigrant families, and specifically, oldest daughters, youth, and what adulthood is usually like for many people in immigrant households. i share a bit about my background, and what it’s like to live where i'm originally from, while also acknowledging the privilege i have. i want to mention that being a parent is not easy, nor something that i’m making an episode to shame anyone about. the purpose of this episode is to simply shed more light on the people in immigrant households, that were never advocated for or understood. i hope you enjoy.
