Hey, it’s Polish Peter again and welcome to episode 43. Today, I have another great guest, Haris Reis who is originally from Bosnia. Wait until you hear his story of how he immigrated to United States?
Let me ask you this…
How would you like to have a soldier tell you at the last minute where you’ll end up once you get on that plane or that train when you want to leave a country that’s been embroiled in a war?
Haris’ parents had to deal with that exact situation. And so were hundreds, if not thousands of other people. In fact, Haris talked about a famous soccer player who just played in the Final of the World Cup, Luka Modric, who had to go through the same process.
Now, while Haris was only 7 years old when he came to US, he has been able to use his parents’ influence to his advantage.
Haris Reis is the Vice President of SyncSumo, 2X National Award Winning Entrepreneur and a 2X National Best-Selling Author!
He previously created a personal branding company and grew it to 6 figures in 10 months and is a former growth hacker for Gary Vaynerchuk. The videos he has created have been shared with people that have over 130k followers, has been in videos that collectively reached over 1.5 million people, created videos that cumulatively received over 5 million views, and has produced nearly $100k in sales for products/services over the phone.
He has been featured in The Young Entrepreneurs podcast, College Startup, Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Live Out Loud, Experts Showcase, The Ambitious Life Magazine, the Life Leveraging Series and many more!
Haris is a very proud immigrant from Bosnia. Well, when you listen to this podcast episode, you’ll discover…

IMU 043: How a Bosnian Immigrant,
Question for you… Have you ever had to deal with a cultural shock of being in a new country or a city, not knowing what to do, say or how to be? How did you handle it?
What would you do if you didn’t speak English and everyone around you told you that you can’t do this or make this happen? How would you handle that?
What if you had to constantly step out of your comfort zone to make something happen? What if you lived your life in a comfort zone that was “dangerous?” How would you handle that?
These are the questions and answers we’ve dissected in today’s episode of Immigrant Masters Unite.
Hey, it’s Polish Peter again and welcome to episode 42. Today, I have another great guest, Li Lin who is originally from Shanghai, China. Li came here at a very early age.
You see, about 18 years ago, Li came to the USA without knowing any English. Over the years, she’s been through a lot and many immigrants can probably relate to her story. I’ve been able to relate to some of the things she has shared on today’s episode.
Fast forward to today and Li has helped over 200 immigrant professionals and international students make more money by getting H-1B and OPT jobs and helping her business clients become immigrant CEOs with online teaching businesses. How did she do it?

IMU 039- How To Schedule Appointments Like a PRO – Lessons FromWhat if I told you that in order to reach the level of success that you truly desire, you need to have a BURNING PASSION?
And what if I told you that once you discover that passion, you can lose 80 lbs, then start a successful business, then get 4,000 clients for that business, then build a successful coaching company, then….?
This is Polish Peter and welcome to episode 38 of Immigrant Masters Unite. Today, I have Carolin Soldo, a powerful immigrant from Germany who did just that!
Carolin Soldo is an International Business Coach with an MBA in Marketing. She’s the founder of multiple premier business programs including Brand Your Passions®, From Passion to Profits®, and The Powerhouse Coach®.
Carolin immigrated from Germany to the U.S. when she was only 19 years old to be with the love of her life, Boris, a Croatian refugee fleeing a war-torn country. After having spent more than a year apart, Caroline made the leap to follow him with nothing but trust in her husband and BIG dreams.
Struggling to get out of poverty, even though she didn’t speak much English, she managed to land a low paying job in telemarketing that improved her position enough to go to school. Passionate and driven, Carolin worked extremely hard and in 2006 she received her Master’s Degree in marketing.
Around that time, Carolin started to climb the corporate ladder in her chosen field of marketing. Although the job paid well, it left her feeling stuck, trapped, and completely unfulfilled. This led to a search for a new sense of purpose that came after the birth of her second son in 2009. She began studying health and dropped 80 pounds to compete in multiple bodybuilding competitions.
Carolin’s fitness lead naturally into a brand new health coaching career that just couldn’t get off the ground. She spent $22,000 trying to make it work by herself. Frustrated and determined to get results, she finally decided to go all-in with a top coach to help her turn the business around. After building her coaching practice to 6-figures, she applied her business know-how and expanded from the health niche into business coaching.
Today, Carolin serves an international client base as a premium business coach. She’s helped hundreds of new and aspiring coaches build thriving coaching practices by creating powerful brands, sharing their message with the world, designing signature programs, automating their marketing systems and more. This holistic approach allows Carolin and her clients to leverage the time they invest in their work, so they can live a life of freedom and luxury and spend time with their families and loved ones.

Are you stressed, anxious, tired or never have enough time to run your business?
Do you wish you had more time? If so, then check this out…
Hey, it’s Polish Peter again and welcome to episode 37 of Immigrant Masters Unite. Today, I have Milana Leshinsky, a powerful immigrant from Ukraine. Milana is known as a serial entrepreneur and paradigm shifter by many luminaries. She came from Soviet Ukraine 25 years ago as a classical musician with zero knowledge of the business world, and has built multiple six and seven-figure businesses since.
However, things weren’t always great!
Her American dream started in October of 1992, when she stepped off the plane Kiev – New York. Equipped with a music teaching degree and a 90-day crash course in English, she was ready for whatever she had to do to survive in this new world.
Everything she learned about America came from the Soviet newspapers in the 80s, so she spent my first few years in awe and wonder. Giving piano lessons at $6 an hour wasn’t going to feed her family, so she enrolled herself in college and graduated with a four-year degree as a computer programmer. Now she had everything she needed to be successful in America, or did she?.
Today, Milana is passionate about showing entrepreneurs how to use simplicity as a growth strategy and say goodbye to complexity and overwhelm.

Today, I have Carissa Hill who is a serial entrepreneur, author, international speaker and business coach specializing in helping women business owners scale and grow their businesses to six figures and beyond.
In her book, “Grow Your Business With Facebook,” Carissa shares the story of how she used Facebook to quickly grow her businesses and then systematize and set them up to run without her personally doing the work.
By her mid-20s, Carissa built a chain of hair salons and ran a successful hair extension wholesale business.

This is Polish Peter and welcome to episode 35 of Immigrant Masters Unite. Today, I have one of my Polish counterparts who immigrated here to United States when she was 13 years old. Kamila Gornia is the “Blow Up, Scale Up” Marketing Strategist who helps entrepreneurs blow up and scale up their businesses to become true leaders online.
By teaching her clients and community how to leverage their own natural personalities into strategic marketing campaigns that are both profitable AND fun, Kamila is proving over and over again that if you can dream it, you CAN really achieve it! Here’s the thing…
This journey started way before she came here. She launched her first website, a manga scanlation site (translating comics from Japanese & English into Polish) as a wee 12-year-old and grew it to 40K views in under 5 months and even managed a virtual staff of people who volunteered to support the growth.

Adam is known worldwide as The Millionaire Marketing Mentor® and is the go-to guy for coaches, consultants, and other successful service professionals who want to attract more clients, convert more high-value sales, build an authority brand, and grow a lifestyle business that makes a bigger impact while generating more income.
His clients and students often double, triple, and even 10x their business – some in as little as 90 days!
One interesting thing many people don’t know about Adam is that he started out in US with only $194 in his pocket (there’s a reason why it’s $194 and not $200) and with a limited ability to speak English but was able to build and sell his first 7-figure business in less than 10 years.
