The final session of Magnificent Jesus! We were honoured to host Pastor Tony Cooke and have him speak at Impact this last weekend! What an amazing message he preached on the awe, magnificence, and splendour of Christ our King!

Have you ever wondered why God spoke to prophets and people in the Old Testament in different methods that were unique? Moses and the burning bush, Gideon and the wet fleece, Naama dipping in the river 7 times, etc. It was how God could communicate with them in that DISPENSATION (that time period before the cross). Now that we are in the CHURCH AGE and are our spirits are completely alive, God can speak to believers directly to our hearts! It's important we understand that and are not always lead by outside situations.

Pastor Joel continues his series on a Spirit Empowered Life, and explains how we have a DIVINE advantage with the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us! God is always wanting to show you things to come, but it's up to us to TURN towards Him and His Word, and allow the Spirit to reveal things to us on the inside.

It's easy to look at life through the natural; we're right in the thick of it! However, we aren't meant to live life that way! God paid an incredibly high price that purchased our freedom and gave us the Holy Spirit! Being born again isn't just your salvation! We are made the righteousness of God through Christ AND SO MUCH MORE!

He gives insightful wisdom into how to continue to be filled in the Holy Spirit, how necessary it is, and how easy it can be! Listen in!

When we believe and receive Jesus as our Lord, we are BORN of the Spirit. And once we have received Jesus as our Lord, we qualify to be FILLED with the Spirit. When He comes on our spirit and as we are filled with Him, He empowers us to live the Christian life. We are empowered to being a witness for Jesus and to serve His church effectively.

Who has God called you to be? What does it look like? Where do you find out the answer, or even start? So many questions, BUT there is an answer! You need to let the Spirit reveal it to you in your heart. You gotta see who you really are!

Understanding that you have a right-standing with God is key to walking a spirit empowered life! It will affect everything about your life!
