LAUNCH: A Dentist Career Event is an amazing opportunity to learn Heartland Dental’s culture, grow yourself, and potentially land a job so you can focus on your clinical skills your last year in school!  The goal for LAUNCH is to continue your growth journey in key areas of leadership, with relevant skills that you can immediately apply in clinic with your patients, faculty, and classmates. This event presents an opportunity for you to meet our network with students just like you, Leadership team, Heartland Supported Doctors, hear from Founder, Dr. Rick Workman, be a part of Ted Talk discussions, breakout sessions, and interview for positions at Heartland Dental.  This month’s guest is Dr. Grace Eichler, who attended the very first LAUNCH in 2018!

Happy New Year Impactful Wisdom listeners, we so are excited to welcome you into 2023!  To kick off this amazing New Year, we are discussing the importance of continuing education with two of our very own Vice Presidents of Clinical Education; Dr. Anna Singh and Dr. Timothy Quirt. In this episode, we’ll dive into why continuing education is so important, and how doctors and hygienists can stay connected and relevant in the dental industry.

It’s the holiday season & for so many people, this is a time of stress and anxiety. Join us, as we close out 2022 and we dive into the uncomfortable topic of mental wellness. Having an open conversation about mental illness, mental wellness and mental awareness is crucial for our overall health and well-being. In most settings, the topic of mental wellness is avoided and the field of dentistry is not off-limits. Learn about Dr. Phinney's journey and how she has overcome her own personal roadblocks and still been a successful dentist.

The move from dental student to clinical practitioner can be intimidating for some. We spend a few minutes with Dr. Scott Enlow learning about the first 60 days as a supported doctor at Heartland Dental and what he was pleased to learn when he joined the practice.

Congratulations to our lunch winners from last month:
Jazzy Gill - Oregon
Janice Darko - Utah
