Many people today are discouraged about the state of our society. God has moved powerfully in the past and will do so again. Let us prepare for the Day of His Power. Today's message is from Psalm 110. The focal verse is verse three.

All Saints Day 2020

Today Pastor Michael McIlwain looks at 2 Corinthians 1:1-2 and answers the question "Who Is a Saint?" He also shares some examples of saints of God past and present who have impacted his life.

Last week we explored the precious promises of Christ's presence in the life of a believer who is seeking to obey the Great Commission. Today we look at some additional precious promises and examine how they are to motivate the believer to live for Christ.

2 Corinthians 6:16b-7:1

As followers of Jesus endeavor to carry out the Great Commission they need to be reminded that we have Christ with us. He will never leave us or forsake us as we engage in this important work!

In Matthew 18:16-20 we learn that Jesus has given His church the authority and the power to make disciples. Making disciples is how the church is built. Disciples are not formed overnight. It takes time, dedication, and commitment on the part of the one doing the discipling and the one receiving the discipling.

The Church is important. Jesus died for her. However, many who profess to love Christ get more excited about churc programs and events and forget the Savior who is supposed to be the emphasis of these things.

In Hosea 10:12 we are given the admonition to seek the Lord. Seeking God is for our good and our benefit. Michael dives into God's Word and tells us why and how we should seek the Lord.
