Emotions are not relevant to you when making a decision, especially one that is life or death, like money matters, and even relationship matters that involve conflict. Why? Because they, when not subordinated by other things like purpose, truth, accuracy, etc, they often create bad and flawed decisions. This is way too common and can cause more conflict than it ever would solve, if it even solves any at all, which is something I'm still not sure of. To be honest, emotions probably escalate conflicts more than they solve them. They may not solve them at all, and that, in fact, distance between you and those emotions do more to do that than anything else.
