Liberty Fontimayor had a career in corporate hospitality sales and came to the realization that the next step in her career was not really what she wanted. She had something else in mind, although she wasn't sure what it all would look like and didn't know right away that it would result in her opening up a brick and mortar boutique, specializing in fun and refined clothing for women.
She walks us through the trial and error that happened before opening Common Coast, and how she changed the course when things weren't going as planned. She has never given up and has the confidence to trust in herself that she will figure it out as she goes.
Liberty reinforces the importance of just getting started, and not waiting to know HOW you are going to do everything before you take the first step.
This conversation will inspire you to push through your doubts and beliefs that you have to have it all figured out before you get started, and that changing directions and pivoting is part of the journey.
Time is our most valuable asset. It is up to us to prioritize how we use it. We all have the same 24 hours in a day. How often do we say, 'I didn't have time' to do something. Really, we didn't make the time, or make something a priority. We all get to choose how we spend our time. If it matters enough to you, you will make the time. If not, you won't.
Many times we say 'yes' even when we don't want to, and let someone else set our priorities for us. This is a recipe for overwhelm. Today's episode will dive in a simple thing, that has a lot of impact. It's not always easy, but makes such a difference, and is so freeing. Let's take control of our schedules back, shall we?
Julie breaks down how her desire for more manifested into creating ModernWell, a beautiful co-working space for women, building community and collaboration.
After raising four kids and managing the household, having a career in wellness and being an author, Julie knew there was something else she needed to be doing, but it took awhile to figure out what that was. Julie walks us through what that looks like, and talks about how the hustle is real, and is what makes you feel alive when you get out of bed in the morning. It's that little spark of fire you have that gets you moving towards what is important to you. Hustle doesn't have to mean run yourself in to the ground.
We talk about goals, habits, the power of connection and relationships, and mindset. And as we all battle our own version of self-doubt, Julie reminds us that our limiting beliefs can ultimately be the dream crushers.
Tune in for this fun, unscripted interview with Julie. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Let me give you some good news. There is nothing external that will hold you back more than YOU will hold yourself back. Your mind is going to play games with you. It's going to make you feel like you shouldn't do the thing. It will try to make you stay safe. It will highlight all of the reasons why you're not qualified. It will create stories about what other people are going to think. It will foster the idea that other people are going to be judging you...
In this episode, we will breakdown how to cut through the stories that we tell ourselves, so we can move forward with confidence and conviction, instead of holding ourselves back out of fear.

The hype of New Year resolution talk has settled down, and although I am not one to set one resolution, I DO choose a word of the year and stick with it. The word is intended to align with my goals for the year and will serve as a compass when I get off track. This episode will give you ideas on how to choose a word and then how to apply it throughout the year, to keep you on track!
We have all heard, 'take action', 'go for what you want', 'take risks', 'chase what make you happy'! What if the problem is that we aren't sure what that is? What is it that we want? We know we feel a nagging pull for more, but what does MORE even mean? Let's back up a little bit and start with gaining some clarity around what more means for you. From there, we can out some tactical strategies in place that will help you move forward.
It is launch day, friends! It has been quite a journey since deciding that creating a podcast is what I needed to do. This episode will share more of how that came to be, which all started with a pull for 'more'... That there was something else I needed to be doing. I know you can relate to this feeling. I want to help you navigate what that means for you, and empower you to create the space in your busy lives to pursue the life you envision.
