I share a story I heard while visiting a hospital recently that has stayed with me.
It made me think about how we're living our lives, what we're chasing and what we might be missing along the way.
We also go down a little rabbit hole into the power of now and why there's so much more to it than we might realise.
Ultimately, it's a reminder of what really matters.
If you ever find yourself caught up in worry or living in fear of what might happen, this one might just shift your perspective.
This week's episode is a reminder I needed myself and one I think we could all do with hearing. 🤍
Ever feel like everyone else has life figured out while you're still trying to get it right?
We all make mistakes, we lose our patience, say things we regret, fall short of our own expectations and sometimes forget that the people around us are human too.
But what if being imperfect isn't something we need to fix?
What if it's simply part of being human?
In Episode 19 of the I'mperfectly Imperfect Podcast, I talk about the messy, imperfect parts of life that don't always make it onto social media.
From the pressure to have it all together to how we treat the people closest to us and why a little more grace might go a long way.
This episode is an invitation to take responsibility when you get things wrong, be a little kinder to yourself and remember that everyone is figuring life out as they go.
🎙️ A place for the mess, the magic, and the knowing that you're made for more.
What if there's more to you and more available in life, than you currently know?
Sometimes we become so familiar with our thoughts, behaviours and ways of living that we forget things could be different.
Simply because we don't yet know what we don't know.
In this episode, I share parts of my own journey, from a time when I struggled to be alone with myself to discovering a completely different way of experiencing life.
I explore the power of self-awareness, why timing matters, how we can unknowingly seek peace outside ourselves and what becomes possible when we begin to reconnect with who we are.
Because the person you are today doesn't have to be the person you remain.
Imagine, there's a whole version of yourself you haven't even met yet...
What could be waiting on the other side?
Do you ever feel like you're constantly trying to find balance, but somehow there's always too much of one thing and not enough of another?
Work, exercise, relationships, responsibilities, rest. We're often told to strive for a balanced life, but what does that actually mean when everyone's life, priorities and values are different?
In this episode, I explore what it really means to find your centre, how to recognise where the scales might be tipping in your life, and why creating balance starts with knowing yourself rather than following someone else's idea of how you should live.
You'll leave with a different perspective on balance and a simple question to reflect on: What's taking too much of your energy right now, and what needs a little more of it?
What do you do when life suddenly changes direction without warning?
Perhaps a relationship ends overnight, a job disappears, a seemingly solid plan magically falls apart...
Something you thought was certain suddenly isn’t.
In this episode, I’m talking about what I call “shock change” those moments that can completely throw us off and how we can learn to move through them without losing ourselves in fear.
I talk about controlling the controllables, taking responsibility for your own state, trusting when you can’t see what’s next and learning how to come back to your centre when the outside world feels uncertain.
You might not be able to control what happens around you, but you can learn to be your own safe place through it all.
What if the pain, frustration or discomfort you’re feeling isn’t something you need to immediately run from?
What if it’s trying to show you that something needs to change?
Sometimes the feeling that “there has to be more to life than this” comes through desire. Other times, it comes when we’ve simply had enough of the way things have been.
In this episode, I explore what can happen when we stop avoiding what hurts and start getting curious about what it might be showing us.
I talk about pain as a catalyst for change, the ways we distract and numb ourselves, taking responsibility for where we are and why creating something different often means being willing to face the things we’ve been avoiding.
What if the pain isn’t the end of the story?
What if it’s the beginning of something new?
If you’re at that point where you know something needs to change, you’re done going around in circles and you’re ready to get clear on what you actually want next, you can apply to work with me 1:1 through A Journey Back to Self.

Have you ever walked into a room with someone who knows more than you and suddenly felt smaller?
Maybe you stopped asking questions and assumed they knew best.
Or ignored the part of you that wasn’t completely comfortable with what you were being told.
This episode is about personal authority, asking questions and remembering that someone else’s expertise doesn’t mean giving away your power.
I talk about questioning the options in front of you, advocating for yourself, staying curious and making informed decisions that feel right for you.
I also share a simple exercise to help you revisit moments where you gave your power away and prepare yourself to respond differently next time.
And that includes questioning your own beliefs too.
The moment we stop questioning our own beliefs is the moment we start mistaking belief for truth and stop being open to what else might be true or possible.
Are you great at giving but feel uncomfortable when it’s your turn to receive?
Maybe you’re always the one helping, supporting, giving your time or figuring things out alone. But when someone offers you help, gives you a compliment, buys you something or simply wants to do something for you, you find yourself brushing it off, feeling awkward or immediately thinking about how you can repay them.
In this episode, we explore why receiving can feel so much harder than giving, the ways you might be rejecting what you actually want more of and what can change when you learn to become comfortable with both.
Because you can’t spend your whole life exhaling.
At some point, you have to inhale too.
You know something in your life needs to change, but you don’t know what you want instead.
Maybe you feel stuck, you’ve outgrown parts of your life, or what once made you happy just doesn’t anymore. In this episode, I explore how the Law of Polarity and the contrast of experiencing what we don’t want can give us clues about what we do want.
If you’re looking for more clarity on what comes next, this episode is for you.
Have you ever felt like you should be doing more, further ahead or have things figured out by now?
Maybe you feel stuck or you’re ready for change.
Or maybe you’re in a season where you just want to slow down and turn inward.
We go through different seasons in life and each one can ask something different from us.
In this episode, I talk about how to recognise the season you’re in, what it might be trying to show you and how to think about what you want from the months ahead.
You’ll leave with some simple questions to help you reflect on where you are, where you want to go and how you want your life to look and feel.
If you’re in a season where you know you want something to change, but you’re not completely sure what you want instead, A Journey Back to Self might be for you.
It’s a 5-week 1:1 coaching journey designed to help you get clear on who you are, what you actually want and a plan of the next steps to make it happen.
