• Apple (AAPL) -
• Shares were down about a percent and a half Monday morning following Apple's warning of delays related to production of its high-end iPhone models, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
• The warning followed a week-long lockdown at the largest facility of Apple's largest supplier, Foxconn.
• Pfizer (PFE) -
• The company's COVID-19 vaccine partner, BioNTech (BNTX), reported a 50% drop in sales amid declining demand for COVID vaccines.
• Peabody Energy (BTU) -
• One of the most-discussed stocks in Benzinga Pro's lounge chat Monday morning.
• Traders and investors were favorable on news out of the company that it and privately-held Coronado ended merger talks. Shares of Peabody were up about 7% on the news.
• Zoom Video Communications (ZM) -
• A play on an upcoming product event and analyst day. Zoom will host its Zoomtopia event on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week; the company's analyst day event will also run in tandem with the product event on Tuesday, starting at 2 p.m. EST.
• GigaCloud Technology (GCT) -
• One of Monday's top momentum plays.
• The Benzinga Pro newsdesk team did not see news to justify a sharp move higher in the stock. Shares were up about 40% in pre-market trade. The issue is in low-float territory, with about 13 million shares in its float.
