Cs: V mrazivém zimním dni, kdy sníh pokryl starobylé střechy Prahy, se město zdálo magické.
En: On a freezing winter day, when the snow covered the ancient roofs of Praha, the city seemed magical.

Cs: Jan kráčel po Václavském náměstí, následován svou energickou kamarádkou Lenou.
En: Jan walked along Václavské náměstí, followed by his energetic friend Lena.

Cs: Měli namířeno do slavném Národního muzea, které kapitálu Česka vládne jako tichý strážce minulosti i přítomnosti.
En: They were headed to the famous Národní muzeum, which reigns over the capital of Česká republika as a silent guardian of the past and present.

Cs: Uvnitř muzea bylo teplo a útulno.
En: Inside the museum, it was warm and cozy.

Cs: Představovali výstavu moderního umění, o které Lena básnila týdny dopředu.

Cs: “ zašeptala hravě.

Cs: Zmatek v Janově hlavě narůstal, ale Lena ho povzbudila: „Vezmi to jako šanci bavit se, vyjiď z ulity!
