Mezzo-soprano Julia Bentley returns to WFMT along with 11 graduate vocal majors from DePaul and pianist Alban Kit Bridges for an all Britten program featuring the cycle “Wintry Words."

The Avalon Quartet is currently exploring the full cycle of Bartók’s string quartets and will share some of what they've discovered when the ensemble returns to Impromptu.

Irish Christmas in America features Irish music, song and dance in an engaging performance rich in history, humor and boundless energy. Produced by fiddler Oisín Mac Diarmada, the 2013 tour includes the vocal group Lumiere, and the Accordion player and singer Séamus Begley.
