In this episode of Shift - Getting out of your comfort zone! - I sit down with Rachel Cossar - Virtual Sapiens Co-Founder and CEO, body language and presence expert. We discuss ways we can be more engaging with our online audience and what her company is doing to help people get real time feedback on their virtual presence and communication style. About Rachel: Rachel Cossar is a body language and presence expert with a unique background in nonverbal performance in extremely high-pressure contexts. For 15 years, she trained and competed as a Rhythmic Gymnast on the Canadian National Team. From this career, she joined the Boston Ballet, performing lead roles in front of thousands of audience members and on stages across the globe. With experience as a major gift fundraising professional at Harvard University and New England Conservatory, Rachel applies her programmatic content to elevate the human experience both in person and virtually. Rachel leads highly experiential workshops both in-person and virtually through CFB, as a leadership presence facilitator with Ariel Group and Mobius Executive Leadership. Most recently, Rachel Co- Founded Virtual Sapiens, a machine learning based platform designed to make quality communication and presence coaching more accessible to rising and established professionals. Her programs have helped meet the needs of executives, consultants, sales teams, hospitality professionals and political figures among others.
