Imp's AEW Adventure

Matt Maher, aka Imp, revisits the WWE week that was.Talking Crown Jewel and RAW live from Saudi Arabia.

$50million per show? Sure! We'll run whatever propaganda you like!

Live from the "beautiful", "progressive", "culturally significant" city of Riyadh, we saw two matches for the first Men's and Women's diamond shiny and heavy AF Crown Jewel Championships.

But will they ever be mentioned again?

We also saw Sami Zayn getting sucked right back in to the Bloodline drama, as well as new contender's crowned for both the Men's and Women's World Championships!

Matt Maher, aka Imp, revisits the WWE week that was.Talking SmackDown and the last RAW before Crown Jewel.

The Samoan family drama dominating both shows as Jey Uso and Sami Zayn find themselves suckered back in. Right in time for Survivor Series after the propaganda show's done with.

New Smackers Tag Team Champions! In a week with both main event Dominick Mysterio AND main event Tonga Loa. Oh they are treating us this week.

A shorter episode going through the Rolling Stone article (instead of briefly mentioning it at the start and then talking about the telly wrestles like everything is normal; when it really isn't).

Matt Maher, aka Imp, revisits the WWE week that was. Talking Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw!

Slap bang into a Saudi Arabia bubble with an inconsequential feeling RAW. If you want a quick WWE break, this is the month for it!

At least Smackers continues to bubble Roman Reigns vs The Bloodline as well as Cody vs Kevin Owens and Tiffany Stratton's face turn. Looking past Crown Jewel with optimism!

We've just... we've just got to get through it first.

Matt Maher, aka Imp, revisits the WWE week that was. Talking the Bad Blood PPV and Monday Night Raw!

An all-time Hell In A Cell showing from Punk and McIntyre, with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns mega-teaming in the main event for Rocky return; Bad Blood certainly left a good taste!

And then Monday Night RAW happened. Hey, we got Gunther vs Sami Zayn so I can't complain too hard. And yet...

DISCLAIMER: The views expressed on this podcast are those solely on this very podcast. We just mess around and have a good time but we do go on side tracks and curse a lot. It's what shitposting is.

The Wrestling Disaster is a bunch of wrestling shitposters talking about the world of wrestling. We talk WWE, AEW, puroresu, lucha and old school. We have a vast array of shitposters led by one Danny Kuchler who founded The Wrestling Disaster as the wrestling world was getting too vast for The Sports Disaster to cover. Do not take what we say seriously, this is all in good fun, unless you're the El Cancerdors known as CM Punk and Dax Harwood.

We are fortunate enough to also be a part of The Social Suplex Podcast Network. Check out their website http://www.socialsuplex.com for more podcasts and writing such as One Nation Radio, Keepin It Strong Style, All Things Elite, and more.

Danny is joined by Kevin Hare of Voices of Wrestling to talk to the Wrestling 101 project he's working on with Robin Reid.

http://www.thewrestling101.com

Danny and Adam review the following matches:

Fuerza Guerrera vs Octagon (CMLL - 11/1/1991)

Finlay vs Chris Benoit (WWE Judgment Day - 5/21/2006)

Toshiaki Kawada & Masa Fuchi vs Yuji Nagata & Takashi Iizuka (NJPW - 12/14/2000)

Steiner Brothers vs Fujinami & Iizuka (WCW - 5/17/1992)

I am going to put a content warning for the Benoit stuff because we do get into the para social stuff probably for the only time. We set the precedent for how we are going to look at certain wrestlers that aren't accepted in today's landscape. It's nothing that should be controversial but we do take this from a list we did not make.
