Hannah Montana was such a formative show for me. I must of been 8 years old or so, and I just remember watching it every morning, every night, glued to the tv. It taught me two things. One: finding some sort of balance in your life and how to maintain it. Having the best of both worlds. Two: how to maintain great relationships with my family and friends. Keeping those people by your side to create more stabilization.

Recently I’ve tried to work on more projects and stimulate my creative thinking, but I've just been kinda down lately. I feel like every time I pick up the pen all I seem to do is scribble. 

AGING AHHH. Over the years my mindset of aging has changed drastically. Why is it that when we’re young all we want to do it grow up and be adults and have office jobs like a our parents, or travel the world like the people we idolize on our screens? Then we get to that age and all we want to do is turn back the clock.

Over The Garden Wall is one of those shows you can watch as many times as you want and get something new out of it every time. It was one of my inspirations for my poetry book, and I wanted to spend a whole episode talking about it :)

why does the queer community hate suburbia so much?

The idea of nostalgia is more prevalent now, more than ever. My generation lives in a time where everything is reused and recycled. Nothing is new anymore! Why do we link onto nastalgia through consumption, whether it's through vintage clothes, or listening to music through old vinyls? Why do we CRAVE the past?

Coffee shops are vital as a queer space providing safety, support, and community in places where it can be challenging to find solace. Do coffee shops across Philadelphia universally provide this type of community, or does it vary depending on local neighborhood culture?
