Everyone has their talents… and my talent is being a bad bowler. But if you find that one spot, that one thing that can help you improve (God), you can do incredible things.

What stories do we prioritize? What stories do we think sound cool? What stories do we share assuming other people will like? Is the Word of God any of those stories?

This VERY goofy comparison packs a bigger punch than you would think. When listening to this episode, think about all the assumptions we make as Christians.

The only thing more dangerous than the secrets we keep in our personal lives are the secrets we *try* to keep from God. We as humans tend to use excuses to cover our misbehaviors, when in reality nothing is hidden from the eyes of God. Sometimes it’s best that we listen to the sign that says “BEWARE OF DOG!” because if you agitate it the dog may bite.

Some sights aren’t meant for human eyes. Some battles aren’t won with human armies. Some tears aren’t dried by human hands. Some things humans will never understand, but God knows and understands everything.

What are you best at? Are you an athlete with unthinkable skills and talents? Are you an actor who can portray a character so strongly it can form a tear in the eye of the public? Are you a child of God? What are you best at?

In this short opening podcast episode, we discuss the importance of sharing the gospel message to others. Using figurative language, with the help from an all-but-friendly deer, the spiritual application of this episode is that though we know where God is, others may not. As Christians, it’s our job to help guide others, even fellow Christians, through the world.
