Reddrock served an 11 year sentence and came home in 2016. We get to learn a little about the time he spent in the feds, but, perhaps the greatest mindset we got to explore with Reddrock is the importance of respecting and using money. Early on, Reddrock had a lot of money come to him, but he learned to have discernment with how it's spent. He was able to put himself, his family, and his line in position to make use of the tools needed to grow and retain financial responsibility!

The greatest takeaway I got from being incarcerated was gratitude and the realization that I had to be intentional about my attitude! Everyday is amazing as long as we decide it is. We have the choice of leaning into the negatives or leaning into the positives, and if you start your day with what you're grateful for, you set the tone for how your day plays out. Choose gratitude!

Addiction goes beyond drugs and alcohol. We can often become addicted to money, relationships, patterns, etc. We have to make the decision to change our habits in the interest of cultivating a better and more disciplined lifestyle! What addiction are you battling? Comment below.

GP has a very intriguing story, and we had the privilege of speaking to him at length about his upbringing and some of the challenges he's faced. He was exposed to a lot of things from a very young age, as early as 5th grade, watching many around him succumb to their battles with addiction and alcoholism. He eventually succumbed to his own struggles with drugs and alcohol and details his journey to recovery and redemption.

We may not get to choose where our story begins, but we all have the PRIVILEGE of living our specific experiences. GP tells us where his perspective of gratitude comes from, especially when analyzing some of the experiences and people around him as a kid.
