Livia's philosophy of nihilism prevails! Val and Alex examine the similarities and differences between Tony and AJ's depression. Sopranoworld has a magnetic pull and both Soprano children seem to be sucked in. Also, Val and Alex are neighbors with Phil Leotardo, hurray!

Alex's favorite episode! Val and Alex talk about asbestos, flipping through stations, collateral damage, and control. Tony's evolution (or devolution?) continues and he finally "gets it". 

AJ cries, watches cartoons and ulimately becomes somewhat of a nihilist. Characters inherit traits from their parents, food shows up everywhere, and everyone seems comfortably numb. Is therapy is a jerk off or a way of understanding the "human condition"?

Val and Alex examine issues of control, business, and addiction. Tony chases trying to be an even bigger dick than normal. A giant piano hangs over his head and we confront the million possible fates that could confront him. "If you're going to lose, what's the fucking point..."

Val and Alex look into issues of identity, control, and culture. Junior makes a new friend, and Tony brings Paulie out on a pretty unenjoyable boat ride. Remember when is the lowest form of conversation, seems like a lot of the characters' talks kind of suck then...

Val and Alex deep dive on a crazy episode. They interpret characters' interpretations, examine death and legacy, and think Cleaver is really great. Alex somehow gets into "quantum Sopranos" and it sucks to be JT or Morgan Yam.
